Sleeping In My Boots | Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask

When my Skin is feeling a little bit dry and dehydrated and looking dull, I love to smother it in some kind of Overnight Mask that contains a good amount of Vitamin C and let it work it’s magic whilst I Sleep. That’s why when I saw that Boots had released a Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, moisturised and brighter looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Boots say about their Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask.

Our Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask promises to give you brighter looking Skin in 14 days. It nourishes Skin overnight for radiant looking Skin. With added Vitamin C and Yuzu Extract this Overnight Mask is suitable for all Skin types.

How to use.

After Serum, apply evenly across your Face and Neck. After the product has completely absorbed, leave the Mask on overnight and rinse off in the morning.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Betaine, Dimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polyacrylamide, Phenoxyethanol, Cetearyl Olivate, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Sorbitan Olivate, Dimethiconol, Phenyl Trimethicone, Laureth-7, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Urea, Fragrance, 3-0-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid,Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Citrate, Benzophenone-4, Limonene, Dipropylene Glycol, Acorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Benzyl Benzoate, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Benzyl Salicylate, Yuzu Fruit Extract, Citral, Hydroxycitronellol, and Denatonium Benzoate, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Mandarin scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of freshly squeezed Mandarin Juice on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Overnight Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion rather than a thick and heavy yet ever so slightly creamy Overnight Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Face and Neck, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Lotion into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Overnight Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter and much healthier for at least 24 hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Boots Vitamin C Brightening Sleeping Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly grassy Mandarin scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a much higher level of Vitamin C.
