Ever since discovering them last year, I absolutely love using some kind of Hydrating Milky Toner in my Skincare Routine, as I really like how silky soft, calm and hydrated they leave my Skin feeling. That’s why when I saw that The Ordinary had released a Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner that claims to leave you with silky soft, soothed and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what the Ordinary say about their Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner.
This formulations key ingredient is a 30% concentration of Saccharomyces Ferment, a Yeast Ferment technology with 3% fermented N-Acetylglucosamine, NAG. NAG exfoliates Skin Surface to help smooth uneven texture and boost radiance.
Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner also gives all-day lasting hydration, and promotes a stronger Skin Barrier after 8 hours after one application. Supported by Squalane, this formulation is especially good for Dry Skin types.
Gently exfoliates for smoother, more hydrated and radiant Skin.
Smooths Skin Texture and reduces the appearance of textural irregularities.
Encourages brighter, more radiant skin.
Gives all-day lasting hydration.

Ph 5.0 to 6.0.
Alcohol-free.

How to use.
1. Shake well before use.
2. Apply in the Morning and Evening.
3. Apply to the Face and Neck using a Cotton Pad or your Fingers.
4. Do not rinse off.
5. Avoid the Eye Contour Area and contact with the Eyes.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Yeast Extract, Squalane, Lauryl Glucoside, Myristyl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate, Isoceteth-20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, and Chlorphenesin, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly acidic Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of Long-Life Milk.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Milky Toner, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Milk rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Milky Toner.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Milk into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Milky Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Bottle with a Pump Lid so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner an eight out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly acidic Milk scent. I also wish that it had come in a Bottle with some kind of a Pump Lid so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
