Whenever i’ve been out all day, I absolutely love using anything from Lush’s Magnesium range, as it really helps to relax my Arms, Back and Shoulders after i’ve been swishing my Cane for such a long time. That’s why when the guys over at Lush very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their Magik range that claims to contain Magnesium as well as CBD Oil and a range of Adaptogens, including Panex Ginseng, Ashwagandha, and Shiitake Mushroom, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it. ,

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Epsom Salts, Citric Acid, Fragrance, Chamomile Blue Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute,Cannabidiol in Hemp Seed Oil, Shiitake Mushroom Powder, Cornstarch, Gardenia Extract, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 42090:2, Colour 19140:1, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:2, Colour 59040, Colour 17200, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk down a Road lined with Violet Flowers on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Pink all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Green all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Pink to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Teal colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Epsom Salt all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left behind some really silky soft feeling Water.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it left my aching Muscles feeling really relaxed, and left my Mind feeling extremely calm.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Bubble Bath rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Bubble Bath into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Magik Massage Bar.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Calamine Powder, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Moringa Oil, Ashwagandha Root & Siberian Ginseng Infusion, Organic Illipe Butter, Fragrance, Magnesium Chloride, Fresh Shiitake Mushroom, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Organic Jojoba Oil, Cannabidiol In Hemp Seed Oil, Sacha Inchi Oil, Ginseng Root Powder, Chamomile Blue Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute, Seabuckthorn Oil, Water, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk down a Road lined with Violet Flowers on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had slightly warmed it between my Hands and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion all over my Body that sank into my Skin within a matter of minutes.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet for at least an hour after I had used it. I also really liked that it left my aching Muscles feeling really relaxed, and also left my Mind feeling really calm.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Candelilla Wax, Organic Castor Oil, Fragrance, Cannabidiol In Hemp Seed Oil, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Chamomile Blue Oil, Jasmine Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Ylang Ylang Absolute, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Cinnamate, Benzyl Salicylate, Cinnamal, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a very subtile deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk down a Road lined with Violet Flowers on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had dabbed a little bit of it on to my Skin, it ever so slightly started to melt and released lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy Temple Balm all over my Temples that set within a matter of minutes.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave me feeling incredibly relaxed, calm, de-stressed and happy, but it also left my Skin smelling of very subtile deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet for at least an hour after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Push Up Cardboard Tube that fitted really easily into my Pocket, once you had pushed it up there was no way to push it back down again other than physically pressing it down and getting it all over your Fingers.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Magik Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Magik Shower Gel an eight out of ten, the Lush Magik Massage Bar an eight point five out of ten, and the Lush Magik Temple Balm a seven point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Magik Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just think that £11 is a little bit too much to spend on one Bath Bomb. I really liked the Lush Magik Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained some of the Adaptogens that the rest of the range had contained. I really liked the Lush Magik Massage Bar, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it hadn’t contained so much Jasmine Absolute. I really liked the Lush Magik Temple Balmm, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly woody Violet scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that you were able to twist it back into it’s Tube somehow instead of getting it all over your Fingers, and that it had smelt a little bit more of Violet Absolute.
