From their SOS Blemish Stick, to their Don’t Stress Spot Patches, and even their Don’t Stress Face Mask, it’s no secret that I love Witch’s range of Skincare. That’s why when they very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tube of their Clearing Blemish Spot Gel that claims to help reduce the appearance and redness of Spots as well as unplug Pores, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
Simply apply to clean, dry Skin, directly on Blemishes when they first appear. Allow to dry and continue with your normal Skincare Routine. No need to wash off.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Alcohol Denat, Witch Hazel Extract, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance, and Carbomer, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and watery yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dropped a couple of drops of Witch Hazel Oil into a Jug of Filtered Water.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Blemish Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Blemish Gel.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Cleansing Gel that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to massively reduce any kind of Spot or Blemish within about two or three days of me continuously using it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short and thin Plastic Tube with a Nozzle Applicator that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, I would have preferred it if it had come in a Bottle with some kind of Pipette Lid so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Witch Clearing Blemish Spot Gel a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and watery yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Bottle with a Pipette Lid so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
