Along with getting and training a new Puppy as well as a few personal problems that i’ve been going through, it’s been quite a stressful few weeks, which means that my Skin has become very dry, irritated and full of Blemishes lately. That’s why when the guys over at Witch very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tube of their Don’t Stress Face Mask that claims to leave you with calm, hydrated and clearer-looking Skin, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Witch say about their Don’t Stress Face Mask.

Formulated by natural Witch Hazel Active and Blue Clay, this Face Mask absorbs excess Oil, prevents clogged Pores and reduces redness, leaving your Skin feeling smooth and calm. It dries in just fifteen minutes, making it ideal for restoring balance and re-hydration to stressed complexions. Helping to treat Breakouts and calming Skin, this Mask is ideal for using two to three times per week or as needed.

How to use.

Apply a small amount on to clean, dry Skin. Wait ten to fifteen minutes for the Mask to dry. Rinse thoroughly with Water. Use two to three times a week or as needed.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Bentonite, Kaolin, Glycerin, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Witch Hazel Water, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, and CI 42090, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and watery yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dropped a couple of drops of Witch Hazel Oil into a Jug of Filtered Water.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hot Cloth Cleanser rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hot Cloth Cleanser into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Mask that set within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that even though it was a Clay Face Mask, that it didn’t set as hard as a normal Clay Face Mask usually does.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Witch Don’t Stress Face Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and watery yet ever so slightly medicinal Witch Hazel scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit of Salicylic Acid or Tea Tree Oil to leave my Skin looking even clearer.
