Moisture Moisture Everywhere | Garnier Moisture Bomb Range

I’m always trying to add more moisture to my dry combination skin, especially during the Winter months, so when I heard that Garnier had released an entire range targeted at adding moisture to dry skin, I knew that I had to check it out. Well i’ve been using the entire range for a couple of months now, and I thought that it was about time that I told you what I thought of the entire range.

The range contains three products, the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Hydrating Day Cream, the Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Moisturiser Night Cream, and the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, and here’s what Garnier say about all three products in the range.

The Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Hydrating Day Cream… More than a moisturiser, the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Hydrating Day Cream recharges the skin with hydration and leaves it feeling protected from external aggressions. For the first time Garnier has integrated in a new generation of ultra-light texture, using Two antioxidant super fruit extracts, Amla and Pomegranate, combined with daily UVA and UVB protection, and A high concentration of plant serum to create a moisturiser who’s fresh texture melts immediately on contact with the skin, and hydrates it perfectly all day, without leaving it sticky or greasy. It also makes skin feel smoother, reduces wrinkles, and makes skin look visibly radiant.

The Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Moisturiser Night Cream… More than a moisturiser, the Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Moisturiser Night Cream recharges up to ten layers of skin with hydration, and re-plumps the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s highly efficient hydrating formula combines two antioxidant super fruit extracts, Amla and Pomegranate, with 15%  plant serum, to create a unique gel cream who’s texture is concentrated in hydration, and is lightweight on the skin. It also melts on contact with the skin infusing it with hydration without leaving your skin feeling sticky or greasy. This has also been proven to instantly give 72 hours of continuos hydration, visibly re-plump fine lines and wrinkles, make skin look visibly younger, make skin feel smoother, and appear fresher from the first nights use.

The Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask… Product innovation inspired by the cutting edge skincare trend from Asia, Garnier introduces the Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, a mask of efficacy that provides one weeks worth of hydrating serum in just fifteen minutes which is equivalent to the concentration of hydrating Glycerine you get by using the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Hydrating Day Cream for one week. The super hydrating technology of hydrating serum, Hyaluronic Acid, and naturally derived ingredients recharges the skin with moisture for 24 hours. The mask also strengthens the skins natural barrier function to protect it from external aggressions and preserve it’s youthful appearance. The 100& natural cellulose fibre tissue also works like a layer of constant hydration whilst in use.

It’s smell.

This smelt incredible, as it had an incredibly fresh scent that kind of reminded me of a mix of Cucumbers, Grass, and the Sea air. I know that sounds strange, but it just had a really uplifting scent that really perked me up as soon as I applied it.

It’s texture.

I thought that the texture of this felt extremely lightweight, as it felt like more of a serum rather than a moisturiser when it was on my skin, which really surprised me as when I pumped it out of it’s bottle it had quite a thick consistency.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved the results that this gave, as after just seven days of using this my skin felt intensely moisturised, plump, soft, smooth, and full of life, and after a month of using this the fine lines around my eyes appeared visibly reduced and pretty much gone, which I thought was fantastic.

It’s packaging.

Another thing I liked about this was it’s packaging, as it came in a tall smooth cylindrical bottle with a great pump that released just enough product to completely smother my face, and you all know how much I love a bottle with a good pump.

It’s scent.

This again smelt incredible. It had more or less the same scent as the day cream except with more of a fruitier undertone to it, I think it’s because they may have used more Pomegranate extract in the night cream, and that is therefor what gave it it’s fruitier undertone. Whatever it was, I loved it.

It’s texture.

The texture of this was again incredibly lightweight as it pretty much just felt like water when it was on my skin, but like the day cream it also felt quite thick when I had scooped it out of it’s pot.

It’s results.

I also loved the results that this gave, as after just seven days of using this my skin felt the best it’s felt all Winter, and felt extremely moisturised, plump, smooth, soft, and full of life, and after a month of using this I again noticed that the lines around my eyes were visibly reduced and were pretty much gone, which is again fantastic.

It’s packaging.

Another thing I loved about this was it’s cool and quirky tub, as it came in a shiny plastic tub that kind of reminded me of a Pear with the top removed.

It’s scent.

I again really liked the smell of this, as it smelt incredibly fresh and smelt just like the other two products in the range, except it had more of a Spa like scent to it than the other two products did.

It’s texture.

The texture of the mask did feel a little strange at first, as even though it’s essentially just serum infused into a giant piece of tissue, the tissue basically contained an entire bottle of serum so it did feel a little heavy on my face at first. Once I had gotten used to it however, it actually felt quite lightweight, and I was able to move around quite a lot with it on without noticing that I was wearing a giant piece of tissue on my face.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved the results that this gave, as after I had used this my face felt incredible, and felt really smooth, soft, and more importantly moisturised. It also made me look like I had just gotten a very expensive facial, which I thought was great especially because of how cheap this was.

How easy was it to use?

One thing I didn’t like about this was the tissue itself, as it didn’t quite fit my face, and I had to bunch it up in quite a few areas, including the eye area, just to get it to fit. It was also quite a hassle to get it out of it’s packaging because the tissue is folded up to fit in it’s packaging, and when I tried to remove and unfold it, I ended up getting a fair bit of the serum all over my hands. I think that if they released a version of this that came in a tube it would be one of my top three masks of all time, because even though it was quite a bit of a hassle to use, I did love it.

My Overall Thoughts

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Moisture Bomb 3 in 1 Hydrating Day Cream, a nine out of ten, the Garnier Moisture Bomb Hydrating Moisturiser Night Cream, a nine out of ten, and the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask, an nine point five out of ten. I absolutely loved the smell, texture, results, and packaging of the entire range, but I think that the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask most definitely had to be my favourite of the three, especially because of it’s results and price point.

If you suffer from dry skin, or are just looking to give your skin a shot of much needed moisture, then I highly recommend you check out the Garnier Moisture Bomb range, as I think that it would be perfect for you.
