It’s no secret that i’ve been absolutely loving any kind of Japanese or Korean Skincare lately, especially if it includes an ingredient that most Western Skincare doesn’t contain, like Centella, Fermented Rice Water, or PDRN. That’s why when I saw that the Boots 24 Days Of Skincare 2025 Advent Calendar contained a Bottle of the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and repaired Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website last year, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
Apply a few drops to affected areas and gently pat in with your Fingertips. Use Morning and Night before applying Oils or Moisturisers. When used during the day, be sure to use with an SPF 30 or higher.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Glycerin, Hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Niacinamide, Glyceryl Oleate, Lauryl Glucoside, Myristyl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-6 Laurate, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glutathione, Hydrolysed Collagen, Sodium Hyaluronate, Japanese Goldthread Root Extract, Adenosine, Chinaberry Leaf Extract, Chinaberry Flower Extract, Ivy Gourd Fruit Extract, Sodium DNA, Eggplant Fruit Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolysed Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Potassium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Holy Basil Leaf Extract, Citric Acid, Turmeric Root Extract, Coral Weed Extract, Sodium Citrate, and Pentylene Glycol, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and milky yet ever so slightly grassy Basil scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Glass of Semi-Skimmed Milk over a massive Pile of Basil Leaves.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Ampoule rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Ampoule into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Milky Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Basil scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Bottle, as 30ml of a PDRN Serum doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it Morning and Evening like you’re supposed to do.
