Intensively Hydrating My Skin Using Hyaluronic Acid | SkinCeuticals H.A. Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum | Sample

One of the nonnegotiable products in my Skincare Routine definitely has to be a good Hyaluronic Acid Serum, as without one my Skin tends to have a meltdown and becomes incredibly dry, dull and rough. That’s why when the guys over at Skinseuticals very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Sample of their H.A. Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum that claims to amplify Skin’s Hyaluronic Acid levels to leave you with hydrated, plumper and glowing-looking Skin, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using if for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what SkinCeuticals say about their H.A. Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum.

Our H.A. Intensifier is a multi-beneficial corrective Serum proven to amplify Skin’s Hyaluronic Acid levels. This unique formulation contains a high concentration of pure Hyaluronic Acid, Proxylane™, and Botanical Extracts of Licorice Root and Purple Rice to support Skin’s Hyaluronic Acid levels and deliver surface hydration, helping improve the visible appearance of firmness, smoothness, and Facial plumpness. This Hyaluronic Acid Serum may be used as part of a Home Skincare Regimen after Dermal Fillers.

  • Delivers long lasting hydration to visibly improve Skin’s texture.
  • Unique Serum-Gel texture format creates a smooth canvas on Skin.
  • Paraben-free and Dye-free, ideal for all Skin types.
  • Can be used as Home Care after Dermal Fillers, always consult with a Physician for individual Regimen Recommendations.

How to use.

Once or twice a day, apply four to six drops to the Palm of your Hand and dab on to your Forehead, Cheeks, Chin and Neck. Blend the product into your Skin. If using with a Retinol at night, apply after Retinol application.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat, Hydroxypropyl Tetrahydropyrantriol, Propylene Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Polysilicone-11, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dimethicone, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Octyldodecanol, Bis-PEG/PPG-16/16 PEG/PPG-16/16 Dimethicone, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Dextrin, Rice Extract, Disodium EDTA, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Hydroxide, Adenosine, Mandarin Orange Peel Oil, Limonene, T-Butyl Alcohol, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Polyphosphorylcholine Glycol Acrylate, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Sodium Chloride, Butylene Glycol, and Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly zesty Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Orange Infused Water on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil rather than a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Skinseuticals H.A. Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier Serum a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly zesty Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just can’t justify spending £115 on a Hyaluronic Acid Serum, as I think that there are a lot of other Hyaluronic Acid Serums currently on the Market that do a similar job for a lot less money.
