The Beauty Of Korean Suncare | Beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++

It’s no secret that I adore both Korean and Japanese Skincare, but one of the products that i’ve never gotten around to trying, despite multiple people telling me that I need to, definitely has to be any kind of SPF as they aren’t that easy to find unless you’re shopping on a dedicated Korean and Japanese Skincare Website. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a The Hydration Edit that contained a Tube of the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ that claims to leave you with silky soft, protected and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website last year, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Our iconic best seller that took over TikTok. Treat your skin to this clean, lightweight Sunscreen with Rice Extract that comfortably hydrates for a non-sticky application and leaves your complexion dewy, bouncy, and bright.
Lightweight cream texture.
Formulated to feel exactly like a creamy Moisturiser, this Sunscreen stays lightweight and non-sticky no matter how much you apply. Infused with 30% Rice Extract and Fermented Grain Extracts rich in Vitamins, Amino Acids, and Minerals to help moisturise and soothe with every application. Absorbs quickly for a natural glow with zero white cast, ever.

How to use.

As the last step of your Morning Skincare Routine, coat two full Fingers with Sunscreen and apply all over your Face and Neck.
Reapply every two to three hours to maintain UV protection.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Dibutyl Adipate, Propanediol, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Niacinamide, Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Caprylyl Methicone, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Rice Extract, Rice Germ Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Pumpkin Ferment Extract, Soybean Ferment Extract, Sugarcane Extract, Kelp Extract, Coconut Fruit Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Green Tea Leaf Extract, Rice Ferment, Behenyl Alcohol, Poly C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Decyl Glucoside, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Adenosine, Xanthan Gum, T-Butyl Alcohol, Tocopherol, Rice Ferment, Aspergillus Ferment, Rice Ferment Filtrate, Pentylene Glycol, and Ethylhexylglycerin, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Green Tea scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make a Green Tea Latte.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Sunscreen, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Sunscreen.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Fluid that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, protected, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ a nine point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and creamy yet ever so slightly grassy Green Tea scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Tube, as 50ml of an SPF doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re applying it multiple times a day like you’re supposed to do.
