The Beauty Of Ginseng-Infused Skincare | Beauty Of Joseon Ginseng Range

After trying and loving all of the Beauty Of Joseon SPF range, including the Mugwort + Camellia Matte Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++, the Relief Sun Aqua Fresh Rice + B5 SPF50+ PA++++, and the Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++, I thought that it was about time that I tried some more products from the Brand. That’s why when I saw that they were having a massive Sale whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after scrolling through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Ginseng Essence Water , a Tube of the Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal , and a Tub of the Revive Under Eye Patch Ginseng + Retinal , and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Beauty Of Joseon say about all three amazing products.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Panax Ginseng Root Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Propanediol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Water, Hydroxyacetophenone, Glyceryl Glucoside, Xanthan Gum, Panthenol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Allantoin, Adenosine, Panax Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, Cocoa Extract, Dextrin, Glucose, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Panax Ginseng Berry Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Ferment Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexyglycerin, and Disodium EDTA, I thought that it had a very overwhelming deep and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Ginseng and Radish scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Radishes in some Rainwater and then had poured it over a massive Pile of crushed up Ginseng Leaves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Essence Water, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Toner.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had poured a little bit of it on to a Reusable Cotton Round and had started to swipe it across my Face, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Micellar Water into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, soft, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear, a lot brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Niacinamide, Butyleneglycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Olivate, Cetearyl Olivate, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Tromethamine, Carbomer, Glyceryl Stearate, Macadamia Seed Oil, Adenosine, Cocoa Extract, Dextrin, cholesterol, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Retinal, rapeseed Cterols, Phytosteryl/Behenyl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Silica, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopherol, Aluminum/Magnesium Hydroxide Stearate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Ceramide NP, Palmitoyltripeptide-5, Disodium EDTA, and Ethylhexylglycerinne, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly watery Ginseng scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Ginseng Plant after it’s just finished raining on a balmy Spring Afternoon.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Eye Gel rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Eye Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under Eyes, it turned from an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Eye Gel into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Eye Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds..

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, a lot brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to help calm, soothe and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of an Eczema Flare-Up.

Their scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of their scent, as even though they contained Panax Ginseng Root Water, Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Collagen Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Carrageenan Extract, Hydroxyacetophenone, Carob Gum, Butylene Glycol, Potassium Chloride, Glucomannan, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Xanthan Gum, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Adenosine, Maltodextrin, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Tin Oxide, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Centella Asiatica Extract, Fig Fruit Extract, Beta-Glucan, Ceramide NP, Caprylyl Glycol, Retinal, Bakuchiol, and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, I thought that they had a very overwhelming deep and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Ginseng and Radish scent to them that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Radishes in some Rainwater and then had poured it over a massive Pile of crushed up Ginseng Leaves.

Their material.

I really liked their material, as these were made out of a very thin and squishy yet ever so slightly rubbery piece of Carrageenan that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when i tried to remove one of them from their packaging.

Their size.

I really liked their size, as even though I was a little bit apprehensive about their Wing shape not reaching the Inner Corners of my Under Eyes, they were actually huge and managed to reach them really well.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had removed one of them from their packaging and had smooth it across my Under Eyes, they started to release lots of incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Serum all over my Skin that eventually set and securely stuck the pieces of Carrageenan to my Under Eyes so that i could move around without worrying that they were going to fall off.

Their results.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, calm, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, a lot brighter and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used them. I also really liked that they didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to calm, soothe and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of an Eczema Flare-Up.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a very secure circular Plastic Tub with a little Plastic Spatula that as well as keeping all of the individual Patches really fresh until I was ready to use one of them, also meant that none of their Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Beauty Of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water an eight point five out of ten, the Beauty Of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal a nine point five out of ten, and the Beauty Of Joseon Revive Under Eye Patch Ginseng + Retinal a nine out of ten. I really liked the Beauty Of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Ginseng and Radish scent. I really liked the Beauty Of Joseon Revive Eye Serum Ginseng + Retinal, as I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and herbal yet ever so slightly watery Ginseng sent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in a Rollerball Applicator for those days when I don’t have the time to do my entire Skincare Routine. I really liked the Beauty Of Joseon Revive Under Eye Patch Ginseng + Retinal, as I absolutely loved their very thick and squishy yet ever so slightly rubbery material, their size, what they did when I used one of them, their results, and their packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of their very strange deep and herbal yet ever so slightly zesty Ginseng and Radish scent.
