Even though I absolutely love any kind of Skincare that includes Ceramides in it’s formula, for some strange reason i’ve never gotten around to trying anything from CeraVe, as i’ve always just associated them with Ceramide-based Cleansers, and i’ve never really seen the point of having Ceramides in a Cleanser as it’s only staying on your Skin for a maximum of about a minute or so. That’s why when they very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Tub of their Hydrating HA Water Gel Moisturiser that claims to intensely hydrate your Skin for up to three days in just three seconds, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Propanediol, Dimethicone, Isononyl Isononanoate, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Carbomer, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Triethyl Citrate, Safflower Glucoside, Silica, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sodium Citrate, Cholesterol, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopherol, Chlorphenesin, Copper PCA, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Xanthan Gum, Phytosphingosine, and Benzoic Acid, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Aloe Vera Leaves in a massive Bowl of Semi-Skimmed Milk.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Water Gel Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Body Lotion rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Water Gel Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Gel-Cream Body Lotion into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the CeraVe Hydrating HA Water Gel Moisturiser an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Aloe Vera scent. I also wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid so that it was a little bit easier to use.

I’ve used their pimple patches and their sunscreen. It was okay.
