I’m not entirely sure what’s caused it, but for the past week i’ve had a massive Spot in the crease of my Cheek that just doesn’t seem to want to go away. It’s also one of those Spots that actually burns when I touch it, which means that i’ve been on the lookout for anything that will sooth it as well as help finally get rid of it. That’s why when I saw that Latest In Beauty had released a Blemish & Breakout Box that contained a Tube of the Coat’s Skin Purifying Hydrating Clay Cleanser that claims to leave you with squeaky clean, soothed, hydrated and clearer-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Propanediol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Candelilla Wax, Glycolic Acid, Decyl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Gluconate, and Tiger Grass Extract, I thought that it had a very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Clay scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you mould some Clay to make an Ornament in Design & Technology at School.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Face Mask rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Clay Cleanser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Clay Face Mask into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Clay Cleanser that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall flat conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Coat’s Skin Purifying Hydrating Clay Cleanser an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and musky yet ever so slightly creamy Clay scent. I also found that it tended to dry out my Skin if I used it for too many days in a row, especially around my Nose and Chin areas.
