After using the Shower With Fun Fun from their Father’s Day 2024 range, i’ve realised how much I love using Lush’s range of Fun Bars. Unfortunately though, apart from being available in their Anchor Stores, which is really difficult for me to get to, they’re really hard to get hold of. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Mermaid Fun whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it

How to use.
Shape and lather this Lime-scented Cleansing Dough in the Bath or Shower. Then use to wash your Hair and Body.
How to store.
Keep somewhere cool and dry until ready for some good clean fun.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Cornstarch, Talc, Glycerine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lime Oil, Seaweed Absolute, Violet Leaf Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 19140:1, Colour 15850:1, Colour 77491, Colour 19140, and Colour 61570, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly salty Lime and Seaweed scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Margarita at the Beach on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Soap, I thought that it felt incredibly soft and squishy yet ever so slightly waxy, and was more like an incredibly soft and squishy yet ever so slightly waxy Block of Plasticine rather than a hard and solid yet ever so slightly oily Block of Soap.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly soft and squishy yet ever so slightly waxy Block of Plasticine into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that it created tons of incredibly silky soft shimmering vibrant Blue, Pink and Yellow coloured Bubbles when I used it as a Bubble Bar, and that it created a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather when I used it as a Shampoo.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin and Hair feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly salty Lime and Seaweed for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came wrapped in a piece of incredibly thick Grease-Proof Paper that kept it really fresh until I was ready to use it, I would have preferred it if each individual coloured piece had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Mermaid Fun a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly salty Lime and Seaweed scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that each individual coloured piece had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub instead of just being wrapped in some Grease-Proof Paper. I also wish that more of their Fun Bars were available in store instead of only being available online or in one of their Anchor Stores.
