I absolutely loved using the Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Face Fluid SPF50+ , as I really liked that it left my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, hydrated, and protected from the Sun’s harmful UVA and UVB-Rays without leaving it feeling sticky or greasy. That’s why when I saw that they had also released an Ambre Solaire Over Makeup Super UV Protection Mist SPF50, and an Ambre Solaire Anti-Dryness Super UV Protection Cream SPF50+ whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick them both up. Well i’ve been using them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Garnier say about both amazing products.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Butane, Water, Homosalate, Dimethicone, Octocrylene, Glycerin, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Nylon-12, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, P-Anisic Acid, Tocopherol, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Dodecylbenzenesulfonate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Thermus Thermophillus Ferment, PEG-22, PEG-8 Laurate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Triethanolamine, Polyglyceryl-6 Polyricinoleate, Poly C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate, Pentyleneglycol, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Caprylyl Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Potassium Sorbate, Japanese Skullcap Root Extract, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Talcum Powder scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Talcum Powder.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to spray a little bit of it on to my Face, it released an incredibly fine and airy yet ever so slightly watery Mist all over my Skin that set within about two or three minutes. I did however notice that it left a very Oily Film all over my Skin for about five or so minutes after it had finally set though, but luckily that went away rather quickly.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, dewy and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Metal Aerosol Can with a Spray Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Homosalate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Alcohol Denat, Octocrylene, Glycerin, Propanediol, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Triethanolamine, C12-22 Alkyl Acrylate/Hydroxyethylacrylate Copolymer, Talc ,Oxidized Starch Acetate, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Rice Bran Wax, Tocopherol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Xanthan Gum, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates Copolymer, and Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly fruity Cotton scent to it that kind of reminded me of a massive Bottle of Comfort Fabric Conditioner.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial SPF, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Facial SPF.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Day Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Ambre Solaire Over Makeup Super UV Protection Mist SPF50a nine out of ten, and the Garnier Ambre Solaire Anti-Dryness Super UV Protection Cream SPF50+ a nine out of ten. I really liked the Garnier Ambre Solaire Over Makeup Super UV Protection Mist SPF50, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly powdery Talcum Powder scent, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in a much bigger Can, as 75ml of a Facial Mist doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re applying it multiple times a day like you’re supposed to do.
