Protecting My Golden Skin From Even More Sun | Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum With SPF 50+ | Gifted

One of the main reasons that I like using the Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Face Fluid SPF 50+ so much definitely has to be how lightweight it feels, as even though I try to use some kind of an SPF everyday, I absolutely hate being able to feel it on my Skin. That’s why when the guys over at Garnier very kindly asked me if I would like to try a Bottle of their Ambre Solaire Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum with SPF 50+ that claims to be incredibly lightweight, leave no White Cast, and contain Ceramides, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Garnier say about their Ambre Solaire Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum with SPF 50+.

Discover Garnier Ambre Solaire’s NEW Super UV Invisible Face Serum, made for daily use with very high protection. Our NEW Super UV Invisible Face Serum offers daily comfortable wear with very high SPF 50+ protection against UVB, UVA & long UVA. Developed for the sensitive Face area, it helps fight against external aggressors and Skin Pollution.

  • Instant Skin Barrier Protection, The Skin Barrier can be damaged by UV and External Aggressors, compromising its natural reserve of Ceramides. This new formula, enriched with Ceramides, provides instant Skin Barrier function protection while also reinforcing it.
  • Invisible Fluid Texture, The texture is more lightweight than a classical Face Sunscreen for all day comfort. It becomes invisible on the Skin immediately after application. Formulated to guarantee protection from UV while appearing invisible on all Skin Tones. It is suitable as a base under Make-Up. Our Sunscreen Serum is non-greasy, non-sticky and leaves no white marks.
  • Strict Formulation Charter: Our Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum has very high 50+ SPF protection that protects against UVB, UVA and Long UVA. It’s also tested under dermatological control, is hypoallergenic, and has no fragrance.
  • All Garnier products globally are approved by Cruelty Free International, under the Leaping Bunny Programme. Our Serum has a Vegan formula, containing no Animal-derived ingredients or by-products. The bottle is made of 40% Recycled Glass. Garnier Suncare Research is recognised by the British Skin Foundation.

Its scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent ,as even though it contained Water, Alcohol Denat, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Silica, Isopropyl Myristate, Ethyhexyl Salicylate, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, EthylHexyl Triazone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, C12-22 Alkyl Acrylate/Hydroxyethylacrylate Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Tocopherol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Benzoate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Silicasilylate, Cellulose, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Ceramide NP, Citric Acid, and Potassium Sorbate, I thought that it had a very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly alcoholic Aloe Vera scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some dead Aloe Vera Leaves in some rancid Rainwater.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an SPF Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous SPF Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil into a thin and lightweight yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to break me out like some of the other SPFs that i’ve tried in the past have done, and that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked its packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a metallic Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum with SPF 50+ a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly musky Aloe Vera scent. I also wish that it was available in some kind of a Plastic Tube so that I could carry it around with me, and that it was available in a much bigger Bottle, as 30ml of an SPF doesn’t really last that long, especially if you’re applying it multiple times a day like you’re supposed to do.
