From their Super UV Face Fluid SPF50+, to their Super UV Daily Invisible Face Serum with SPF50+, and even their Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Invisible SPF50+, I absolutely love Garnier’s range of Suncare, as I really like how lightweight they feel on my Skin, how well they protect my Skin from the Sun’s harmful UV Rays, and how good value for money they are. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Pure Active BHA + Niacinamide Daily UV Fluid SPF50+ that claims to protect your Skin from the Sun’s harmful UV Rays as well as help control Sebum production whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

This Daily UV fluid combines a very high protection SPF50+, UVA, UVB & long UVA, to prevent Sun Damage and potent Derm Actives to reduce imperfections and mattify. How to use.

Every Morning, apply as a Moisturiser or on top of your Moisturiser before your Makeup.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Alcohol Denat, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Silica, Isopropyl Myristate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Propanediol, C12-22 Alkyl Acrylate/ Hydroxyethylacrylate Copolymer, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Perlite, Caprylic /Capric Triglyceride, Tocopherol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Benzoate, Triethanolamine, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Silica Silicate, Salicylic Acid, Zinc PCA, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Caprylyl Glycol, Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sarcosine, Citric Acid, and Potassium Sorbate, I thought that it had a very strange deep and metallic yet ever so slightly creamy Salicylic Acid scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of some out of date Salicylic Acid Serum.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Face Fluid, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly milky, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly milky Cleansing Milk rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Face Fluid.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly milky Cleansing Milk into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Face Fluid that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, matte, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clear and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier Pure Active BHA + Niacinamide UV Face Fluid SPF50+ a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly milky consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and metallic yet ever so slightly creamy Salicylic Acid scent. I also wish that it was available in a much bigger Tube, as 40ml of an SPF doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it every day like you’re supposed to do.
