One of my favourite Brands at the moment, especially when it comes to their Vitamin C and their Suncare, definitely has to be Garnier, as I think that they create some brilliant formulas at a really affordable price. That’s why when I saw that they had released a SkinActive Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Invisible SPF50+ that claims to help brighten your Skin as well as protect it from the Sun’s harmful UV Rays whilst I was scrolling through Boots’ Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.

Apply an amount on to two fingers and apply to your face and neck. Use in the morning as a moisturiser, or on top of your day cream or serum before your makeup routine.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Alcohol Denat, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Silica, Isopropyl Myristate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Dis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Glycerin, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Propanediol, C12-22 Alkyl Acrylate/Hydroxyethylacrylate Copolymer, Triethanolamine, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lemon Fruit Extract, Carbomer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Lactate, Silica Silicate, Cellulose, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Palmitoyl Tetripeptide-1, Tromethanine, Adenosine, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Polysorbate 20, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Tocopherol, Linalool, Geraniol, Limonene, Citral, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sour Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Carton of Orange Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an SPF Fluid, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy SPF Fluid.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, protected, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall conical plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, it unfortunately had quite a thin Nozzle which made getting a decent amount of product out of it with one squeeze very difficult.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Garnier SkinActive Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid Invisible SPF50+ an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sour Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Tube or a Bottle with some kind of a Pump rather than in a Tube with a really thin Nozzle.
