How To Make A Costa Coffee Butter Pecan Cookie Latte At Home

Even though one of my favourite Festive Drinks definitely has to be the Costa Coffee Black Forest Hot Chocolate, i’ve actually really been liking their Butter Pecan Cookie Latte this year, as I absolutely love it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly nutty Pecan taste. Well after drinking quite a lot of them over the past couple of weeks, I thought that I would tell you how to make one at Home.

What you’ll need.

  • One or two Shots of your favourite Espresso, depending on how strong you like your Coffee.
  • 190ml of Milk.
  • A Can of Squirty Cream.
  • 2 Teaspoons of Monin Butter Pecan Syrup or Jordan’s Skinny Syrups Caramel Pecan Syrup if you can’t find it.
  • One Biscotti. They use a Butter Pecan Cookie, but unless you make them from scratch they won’t be as crunchy as you need them to be.
  • A Plastic Bag.
  • A Rolling Pin or something heavy.
  • A Microwavable Jug.
  • A Tall Latte Glass.

What to do.

1. Add your Biscotti to the Plastic Bag, securely tie it and smash it to a fine crumble with your Rolling Pin.
2. Add the Milk to your Microwavable Jug and put it in the Microwave for three minutes or until you think it’s hot enough.
3. While your Milk is heating up, brew your Espresso using whichever Brewing Method you prefer. Whether that’s from a dedicated Espresso Coffee Machine, a Stovetop Coffee Pot, or even an Instant Espresso Powder..
4. While your Coffee is brewing and your Milk is heating, add a Teaspoon of the Monin Butter Pecan Syrup to the bottom of your Latte Glass.
5. Once your Espresso and Milk is ready, add the Espresso to your Latte Glass and then top with your Milk.
6. Shake your Bottle of Squirty Cream and squirt a liberal amount on top of your Latte..
7. Sprinkle a couple of pinches of Biscotti over your Squirty Cream, and drizzle over the remaining Teaspoon of Monin Butter Pecan Syrup.
There you go, that’s how to make a Costa Coffee Butter Pecan Cookie Latte at Home.
