Even though my Skin has been feeling pretty calm lately, I still have the occasional flare-up of Eczema underneath my Eyes, and one of the main things that i’ve been using to keep it at bay is a mixture of anything that contains Cica, also known as Tiger Grass, or Oat Kernel Extract, as they both sooth and hydrate my Under Eyes without further irritating them. That’s why when I had heard that Revolution Skincare had released a Cica range that claims to contain Cica to leave you with silky soft, calm and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through Instagram a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Cica Serum, and a Bottle of the Cica Comfort Moisturiser, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Revolution Skincare say about both amazing products.

Its scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Isododecane, Shea Butter, Ethyl Esters, Sunflower Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Mica, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Panthenol, Squalane, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Mountain Pepper Fruit & Leaf Extract, Tin Oxide, Pullman, Polysorbate 60, Cellulose Gum, Sorbitan Isostearate, Benzonic Acid, Tiger Grass Extract, Sorbic Acid, Tocopherol, Pantolactone, CI 19140, CI 42090, and CI 77891, I thought that it had a very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly metallic Cica scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open the Lid to an At Home Compost Bin.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Oil into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds. I also really liked that once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, that it turned from a fairly vibrant dark Green into a nearly translucent Beige that instantly merged into my natural Skin Tone.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit brighter and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to cover any red or flaky Skin that I had, and that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked its packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
