Chick, Chick, Chick, Chick, Chicken, Lay A Little Egg For Me | Lush Easter 2024 Range | Gifted

Even though it’s technically a celebration designed for Children, I do like celebrating Easter, as I absolutely love seeing all of the Easter themed Bath and Body products, Chocolate, and Home Decor that get’s released. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released an Easter 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an Alien Bunny Spaceship Bath Bomb, a Bunny Moon Bath Bomb, a Cheep Cheep Bath Bomb, a Hot Cross Bunny Bubble Bar, a Tub of Easter Turtle Shower Jelly, a Tub of Sticky Dates Body Scrub, a Bottle of Sticky Dates Body Lotion, and a Block of Faerie Realm Soap, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all eight delicious smelling products.

The Alien Bunny Spaceship Bath Bomb.

It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s an Alien Bunny driving a Spaceship, sucking up Cows from a field! Soft Yellow and Pink Foam covers the Water as frothy Green Rays shoot out, creating swirls of colour like a Rainbow Sorbet. The sunny citrus scents of Sicilian Lemon and Grapefruit Oils lift your Spirits, while Freeze-Dried Carrot Powder, what Alien Bunnies eat, gives Skin a healthy glow. Keep your Eyes peeled; you might find one of those missing Cows hidden inside…

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Grapefruit Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Freeze-Dried Carrot Powder, Cream Of Tartar, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Gardenia Extract, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Dipropylene Glycol, Citral, Limonene, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 45410:2, Colour 15850:1, Colour 42090, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Grapefruit and Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you make a Grapefruit and Lemon Smoothie.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Pink all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright Yellow to turn my entire Bath a stunning dark Yellow colour. Then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of vivid bright Green and Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the stunning dark Yellow to turn my entire Bath a mesmerising Sunshine Yellow colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it left behind a little Paper Cow that I thought looked really cute.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fruity Grapefruit and Lemon for hours after I had used it.

What it did when I used it.

I absolutely loved what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning Neon Yellow colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Popping Candy all over the surface of the Water that made it sound like a Chick was actually chirping in my Bath.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had crumbled a little bit of it under some running Water and had let my Bath fill all the way to the top, it created mounds of incredibly silky soft Blood Orange Bubbles that made it look like I was bathing in a Sea of Clouds at Sunset.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub rather than a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Soap & Sugar Whipped Scrub into a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Sugar Scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, because of it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, I found it extremely hard to get any of it out of it’s Bottle.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily lather that spread really easily across my Hands.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

I really liked the Lush Sticky Dates Body Scrub, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly sweet Burnt Toffee scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had been a little bit grittier. I really liked the Lush Sticky Dates Body Lotion, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and caramely yet ever so slightly creamy Burnt Toffee scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub instead of in a Bottle. I really liked the Lush Faerie Realm Soap, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly fizzy Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of an actual shape like the rest of their Soaps.
