One of my go-to Moisturisers definitely has to be The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA, but with me usually having Dry to Combination Skin, i’m always on the look out for a Moisturiser that’s a little bit more lightweight that still manages to give my Skin an amazing amount of hydration. That’s why when I saw that they had also released a Natural Moisturising Factors + Beta Glucan that claims to be extremely lightweight and provide all-day hydration whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what i thought of it.

Natural Moisturising Factors + Beta Glucan is a lightweight gel moisturiser that provides all-day hydration after one application. With a blend of natural moisturising factors, Beta Glucan, and Ceramides, it also fortifies the Skin’s Natural Barrier.
The Beta Glucan within the formula is an effective Humectant, which helps to retain moisture. This helps support other ingredients within the formula to offer immediate hydration and Barrier support.
Ideal for all Skin types, including Sensitive Skin, its non-greasy formula is particularly beneficial for those with oily and combination Skin.

Targets, dryness.
Suited to, all Skin types.
Format, Water-based Gel.
Ph, 5.3 to 6.3.
Alcohol-free.
Oil-free.
Silicone-free.
Vegan.
Gluten-free.

How to use.

Apply a small amount to the Face in the Morning and Evening. If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a Physician.

It’s scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, PPG-24-Glycereth-24, Propanediol, Betaine, Beta-Glucan, Arginine, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Proline, Threonine, Glutamic Acid, Lysine HCl, Glucose, Maltose, Fructose, Trehalose, Xylitol, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitylglucoside, Sodium PCA, PCA, Sodium Lactate, Urea, Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phospholipids, Sphingolipids, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, P-Anisic Acid, Aminomethyl Propanol, Phenoxyethanol, and Chlorphenesin, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly metallic Water scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pour yourself a Glass of Water from the Kitchen Tap.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Gel Moisturiser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel-Cream Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of its packaging, as even though this came in a tall flat conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of Bottle or Tub, as because of it’s incredibly thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous consistency, I had no way of controlling exactly how much product came out.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + Beta Gluten a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and watery yet ever so slightly metallic Water scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Bottle or Tub so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
