Oh, I’m Fierce And I’m Feeling Mighty | Lush Eid 2024 Range

I’ve always been fascinated by other Cultures Religious Ceremonies such as Diwali, Eid, and Hanukkah, as even though I don’t celebrate them myself, I love learning all about their Cultures, Stories, and different Traditions. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released an Eid 2024 range, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of Oudhess Shower Gel, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

A medium circular puddle of some bright purple shower gel that has some pieces of silver lustre running through it, on a white background.

Here’s what Lush say about their Oudhess Shower Gel.

Mubarak! It’s time to celebrate Eid.
Jump into festivities feeling fresh with this opulent Shower Gel. Precious and rare Oudh Oil brings a dark, woody aroma that blends with the heady florals of Jasmine Absolute and Rose, while Osmanthus is perfect for awakening the senses after Ramadan, with its ripe Peach scent.

How to use.

Shower under the Moonlight and lather up suds of rich Oudh and floral Jasmine. Rinse and rejoice with pampered Skin.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, White Tea Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Calcium Lactate Gluconate, Fine Sea Salt, Lauryl Betaine, Rose Water, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, Jasmine Absolute, Osmanthus Absolute, Rose Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Oudh Oil, Lactic Acid, Tincture of Benzoin, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Cinnamate, Eugenol, Geraniol, Limnonene, Linalool, Colour 77007, Colour 17200, and Colour 42090:2, I thought that it had a delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Jasmine and Oudh scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had dunked some Jasmine Petals and some Oudh Resin in a massive Glass of Cola.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum rather than a thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Hyaluronic Acid Serum into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Jasmine and Oudh for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Oudhess Shower Gel an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and floral yet ever so slightly spicy Jasmine and Oudh scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Oudh.
