One of my favourite Lush Co-Create ranges from the past year definitely has to be their Eid Al-Fitr 2025 range, as I absolutely loved all of it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly fizzy Blackcurrant and Grape scent. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an Eid Al-Adha 2025 range with some of the products being created by someone who works at Lush Meadowhall, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tub of Jamil Body Scrub, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

This Self-Preserving Product is formulated to stay fresh and effective without added Synthetic Preservatives listed under Annex V of the EU Cosmetic Regulations.

How to use.

Use on wet Skin, massaging over Legs, Arms and Body to exfoliate, cleanse and moisturise, then rinse.

How to store.

Store with the Lid closed between uses.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Water, Tagua Nut Powder, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Almond Oil, Propylene Glycol, Fig Infusion, Brazil Nut Oil, Ground White Rice, Shea Butter, Stearic Acid, Organic Argan Oil, Cupuaçu Butter, Grapefruit Oil, West Timor Sandalwood Oil, Geranium Oil, Fresh Pomegranate Juice, Pomegranate Seed Powder, Carrageenan Extract, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410:2, Colour 15850:1, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Fig and Pomegranate scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Tub of Fig and Pomegranate Yoghurt.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty Co-Mingle Body Scrub rather than a thick and gritty yet ever so slightly creamy Body Scrub.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly gritty Co-Mingle Body Scrub into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty Microdermabrasion Body scrub that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, squeaky clean, silky soft, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Fig and Pomegranate for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Jamil Body Scrub an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Fig and Pomegranate scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Pomegranate. I also wish that it had been a little bit harsher, as even though it contained Tagua Nut Powder, Ground White Rice, and Pomegranate Seed Powder, it still wasn’t as scrubby as I would have liked it to have been.
