One of the things that i’ve always admired about Lush definitely has to be that they’re always trying to raise awareness, Money and support for various different Causes and Charities through their range of Giving Products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Hand Of Friendship Bath Bomb with 75% of profits minus Tax going to Migrants’ Rights Network, a UK-based Campaigning Charity that stands in solidarity with Migrants in their fight for Rights and Justice, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and pick it up. Well I finally used it the other Night, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Litsea Cubeba Extract, Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid Extract, Water, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 45410, and Colour 77491, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Watermelon and Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Bag of Watermelon Jolly Rancher Sweets.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and dark Blue all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous dark Purple all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful bright White Foam and dark Blue to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Pastel Purple colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Watermelon and Orange for hours after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Hand Of Friendship Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Watermelon and Orange scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Orange. I also think that it would have been great if it had been one of those Bath Bombs that you could add a message too so that you could write something nice inside it, maybe like “Hi i’m Luke and i’d love to get to know you more”, and give it to someone to make them feel a little bit more welcome.
