Like everyone who grew up in the early 90s, I was obsessed with The Moomins, especially Moominvalley, as I absolutely loved seeing all of the different adventures that Moomintroll and his Friends were having exploring all of the weird and wonderful Lands that surround their adorable little Valley. That’s why wen the guys over at Lush very kindly asked me if I would like to try some of their x Moomin range, I of course said yes. The Lush Moomintroll Bath Bomb.
It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Bergamot Oil, LavenderOil, Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Extract, Orange Oil, Coconut Milk Powder, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Maltodextrin, Gardenia Extract, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Linalyl Acetate, Pinene, Santalol, Terpinolene, Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin, Hydroxycitronellal, Vanillin, Fragrance, Colour 47005:1, and Colour 42053, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and clean yet ever so slightly fruity Cotton scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past a Washing Line full of freshly-washed Laundry on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful Bright Blue and White Foam all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of gorgeous bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended with the beautiful Bright Blue and White Foam to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering Turquoise colour.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and clean yet ever so slightly fruity Cotton for hours after I had used it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerin, Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Mimosa Flower Extract, Neroli Oil, Fresh White Lily Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Linalool, Amyl Cinnamal, Geranyl Acetate, Hydroxycitronellal, Vanillin, Colour 19140:1, Colour 42090:2, Colour 19140, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly creamy Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking past someone who’s just finished applying some Suncream at the Pool on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gummy, I thought that it felt incredibly tough and hard yet ever so slightly rubbery, and was more like an incredibly tough and hard yet ever so slightly rubbery Fruit Gum rather than a soft and squishy yet ever so slightly rubbery Shower Gummy.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to release lots of incredibly thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly oily Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly creamy Coconut for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came wrapped in a really thick piece of Biodegradable Plastic securely sealed by several Sticky Labels that kept the Shower Gummy really fresh until I was ready to start using it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Rapeseed Oil, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Grapefruit Oil, Pink Pepper Oil, Champaca Extract, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Bergamot Oil, Orange Oil, Fresh Ginger Root Extract, Black Peppercorn Extract, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Beta-Caryophyllene, Citral, Limonene, Linalyl Acetate, Pinene, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Colour 77491, Colour 17200, and Colour 14700, I thought that it had a very strange deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Pink Pepper and Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Packet of Pink Peppercorns into a massive Glass of freshly-squeezed Grapefruit Juice.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily lather that spread really easily across my Body and Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Pink Pepper and Grapefruit for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.

What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy lather that spread really easily across my Body. I also really liked that once I had started to massage it’s little Moommintroll and Snorkmaiden Soap into my Skin, that it created an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily lather that spread really easily across my Body and Hands. Another thing that I really liked was that despite it’s very dense and heavy feel, that it actually managed to float in my Bath.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry and Cloudberry for at least half an hour after I had used it.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Almond Oil, Glycerin, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Jojoba Oil, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Geteme Tree Flower Honey, Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Extract, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Coconut Cream Extract, Cetearyl Alcohol, Coumarin, Vanillin, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Farnesol, Linalool, Santalol, Fragrance, and Colour 47005, I thought that it had a delicious deep and creamy yet ever so slightly biscuity Vanilla scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pour some Vanilla Extract into a massive Jug of Batter when you’re making Pancakes.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Lotion, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Body Lotion.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly biscuity Vanilla for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Moomintroll Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Snufkin Shower Gummy an eight point five out of ten, the Lush Little My Soap a six out of ten, the Lush Moomin Delight Soap and Body Wash a nine out of ten, and the Lush Moominmamma Body Lotion a nine out of ten. I really liked the Lush Moomintroll Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and clean yet ever so slightly fruity Cotton scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained some Popping Candy to make it sound like Moomintroll was actually stomping around in my Bath. I really liked the Lush Snufkin Shower Gummy, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly creamy Coconut scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Mimosa. I really liked the Lush Little My Soap, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Pink Pepper and Grapefruit scent. I really liked the Lush Moomin Delight Soap and Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Raspberry and Cloudberry scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Moominmamma Body Lotion, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly biscuity Vanilla scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Tub.
