Stomping Through Korea To Get Repaired Skin | Boots K-Beauty Range

I absolutely love using both Japanese & Korean Skincare in my Skincare Routine and are thrilled that more brands are starting to release more affordable ranges or just ranges that are inspired by all of the amazing formulas that they have on offer. That’s why when I had heard that Boots had released a K-Beauty range, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after scrolling through their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Cleansing Oil, a Bottle of the Hydrating PDRN Serum, and a Tube of the Cica Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Boots say about all three amazing products.

The Boots Cleansing Oil.

A lightweight Oil-Based Cleanser that deeply cleanses your Skin, melting away Make Up and Impurities. Skin is left feeling deeply nourished and refreshed after use. For all Skin types. Non-comedogenic formula.

How to use.

Apply one to two Pumps onto dry Skin and gently massage in circular motions. Add a little Water and continue massaging to create a light Milky Emulsion. Rinse thoroughly with Water and follow up with your Skincare Routine.

The Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum.

A PDRN Serum that delivers deep hydration and moisture, leaving Skin feeling firmer, more supple, and radiant after use. For all Skin types. Non-comedogenic formula.

How to use.

Apply a few drops to Cleansed Skin and gently pat in with your Fingertips. Use Morning and Night before applying Oils or Moisturisers. If using in the Morning always follow up with an SPF.

The Boots Cica Cream.

A multi-purpose Cica Cream, scientifically proven to help restore the Skin’s Moisture Barrier while soothing and protecting against dryness. The lightweight, non greasy formula leaves Skin feeling healthy and nourished after use. For all Skin types. Non-comedogenic formula.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Grape Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Laureth-3, PEG-20 Glycery Triisostearate, BHT, Cica Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Glyceryl Caprylate, Tocopherol, Glycerin, Fragrance, Beefsteak Seed Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, PPG-2 Methyl Ether. Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Seaberry Oil, Milk Thistle Seed Oil, Linoleic Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Himalayan Wild Cherry Seed Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sunflower Seed Oil, Hydroxyacetophenone, Water, and Frankincense Resin Extract, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Watermelon and Cookie scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some out-of-date Cookies in a massive Glass of Watermelon Juice.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Cleansing Oil, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Facial Oil rather than a thick and oily yet ever so slightly milky Cleansing Oil.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly watery Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly milky Cleansing Oil that spread really easily across my Face. I also really liked that once I had added a little bit of Water to it, that it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly milky Cleansing Oil into a thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Cleansing milk that was really easy to remove.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really like that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a Pump Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

A short rounded rectangular glass bottle full of some clear Facial Serum with a light pink rubber pipette lid and a white label that has Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum written in bold black writing on it, on a white background.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Glycereth-26, Panax Ginseng Root Water, Panthenol, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Carbomer, Hydroxyacetophenone, Xanthan Gum, Sodium DNA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Adenosine,Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, and Phenoxyethanol, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly zesty Ginseng Root scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some pieces of Ginseng Root in a massive Bowl of Semi-Skimmed Milk.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Facial Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery, and was more like an incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Ampoule rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly oily Facial Serum.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and milky yet ever so slightly watery Ampoule into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Milky Toner that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylic/Capric 1 Triglyceride, Glycerin, Squalane, Xylitylglucoside, Pentylene Glycol, Cica Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Trehalose, Dimethicone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Anhydroxylitol Butylene Glycol, CI4-22 Alcohols, 1,2-Hexanediol,Hydroxyacetophenone, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Xylitol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin,CI2-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Carbomer. Panthenol, Niacinamide, Ethylhexylglycerin, , Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fen Fang Ji Root Extract, Rhino Flower Root Extract, Mannitol, Beta-Glucan, Olive Leaf Extract, Chinese Ground Orchid Bulb Extract, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Ergothioneine, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, and Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, I thought that it had a very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly burnt Cica scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had accidentally set a massive Pile of freshly picked Cica Leaves on Fire.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturiser.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall conical Plastic Tube with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Boots Cleansing Oil an eight out of ten, the Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum an eight point five out of ten, and the Boots Cica Cream an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Boots Cleansing Oil, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly watery consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly biscuity Watermelon and Cookie scent. I really liked the Boots Hydrating PDRN Serum, as I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly fruity Ginseng Root scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more PDRN to leave my Skin feeling even more smooth, soothed and hydrated. I really liked the Lush Cica Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and floral yet ever so slightly burnt Cica scent.
