I don’t know why, but even though i’m not a massive fan of Coffee, i’ve been absolutely loving anything that smells of it lately. That’s why when I saw that Lush had released a Soapuccino Soap that claims to smell just like a Mug of Coffee whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Rise and shine, it’s Coffee time.
A rich House Blend of Roasted Cocoa Extract, a double shot of Vanilla Absolute and a little Coriander Seed Oil, extra Foam. Wake up and smell the Coffee when you add this soapy sudser to your Morning Routine. Warm woody undertones will have your senses reeling to start your day with a Hand and Body Wash.
What’s in it for you?
A rich, Coffee-like scent with woody undertones gives Skin the wake up call it needs.
Vanilla lathers attend to our sweet-toothed Coffee heads, rounding off the scent.
Leaving the World Lusher than we found it.
Our In-House, Palm-Oil-free Soap base (a mouthful to say, but a pleasure to tell you about) is Rapeseed Oil and Coconut Oil. The coconut oil is sourced from a supplier working in Aceh, Indonesia, where the supplier supports Farmers who are pressured by the Palm Industry to deforest their Land and grow Palm. Instead, they are supported to grow Coconut in biodiversity-friendly ways. They also have a number of Wildlife Support Programs, including protecting the spawning area of Marine Turtles.
This product needs no Packaging and no introduction. It will arrive naked and proud in your Parcel because we want to strip back on unnecessary Packaging.
Our bespoke, In-House Soap base is made with Palm-free, Vegan Glycerine to leave the Skin cleansed and refreshed.
How to use.
For a Coffee hit, lather in Warm Water to release Roasted Cocoa notes, then rinse.
How to store.
When you’re done enjoying your favourite Coffee Order, store somewhere dry and draining between uses, like one of our Soap Dishes!
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Ground Coffee, Fragrance, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Vetivert Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Roasted Cocoa Extract, Coriander Seed Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Bicarbonate, EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate, Coumarin, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly burnt Coffee scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into a Coffee Shop after they’ve just finished their Morning Rush.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had held it under some running Water for a couple of seconds and had started to massage it into my Skin, it started to create a really thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty lather that spread really easily across my Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hands feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them smelling of delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly burnt Coffee for at least fifteen minutes after I had used it.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Soapuccino Soap a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly burnt Coffee scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had contained some Castor Sugar or crushed up Coffee Beans to give my Skin an even deeper amount of exfoliation.
