I absolutely love using Temple Balms, especially when I have a Migraine, as with most of my Migraines being triggered by scents they allow me to block out everything and hopefully try and relax for a bit. Unfortunately though, most Temple Balms contain some kind of Lavender, which I hate the scent of, so i’m always on the look out for one that actually smells nice. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a range of Temple Balms, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Tube of Whoosh Temple Balm, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Lush say about their Whoosh Temple Balm.
A Temple Balm to take you up.
Feel the rush and get bright and alert with a dab of this zingy Balm, Whoosh is wonderfully supportive for anyone who feels like they’re zooming around. Scented with the sweet, zesty aroma of get-up-and-go Grapefruit, as well as revitalising Rosemary, this Temple Balm is perfect for perking up a dull Morning.
Good for you and the Planet.
Self-Preserving: formulated to stay fresh, effective and safe to use without Synthetic Preservatives.
How to use.
Apply directly to your Temples and breathe in the awakening scent of Grapefruit and Rosemary Oils. Try dabbing a little on your Pulse Points too, for a tiny burst of fragrance energy throughout the day!
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Candelilla Wax, Fragrance, Grapefruit Oil, Rosemary Oil, Geranium Oil, Citral, Geraniol, Citronellol, Limonene, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly Menthol Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had crushed up an entire Packet of Lockets Cough Sweets.;
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had dabbed a little bit of it on to my Skin, it ever so slightly started to melt and released lots of incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly waxy Temple Balm all over my Temples that set within a matter of minutes.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave me feeling incredibly relaxed, awake, invigorated and happy, but it also left my Skin smelling of delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly menthol Lemon for at least an hour after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short cylindrical Push Up Cardboard Tube that fitted really easily into my Pocket, once you had pushed it up there was no way to push it back down again other than physically pressing it down and getting it all over your Fingers.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Lush Whoosh Temple Balm a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly menthol Lemon scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that you were able to twist it back into it’s Tube somehow instead of getting it all over your Fingers, and that it was available in a much bigger Tube. I also wish that it was available in some other scents, like Big Blue, Karma, or maybe even Over and Over.
If you would like to check out the Lush Whoosh Temple Balm for yourselves, then you can either pop into your local Lush store, or you can find it online here.
