Everyone has been raving about the Primark PS… Naturals Balm To Oil Cleanser lately, as it’s supposed to be very similar to the Clinique Take The Day Off™ Cleansing Balm but at a fraction of the price. But with it being from Primark, it’s obviously been very difficult for me to finally get hold of it. Luckily though, when I was in store picking up a few things from the Primark X Alex Steinherr range a couple of weeks ago, I saw a few Tubs of it on the end of an Isle and instantly put it in my Basket. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Primark PS… Naturals Balm To Oil Cleanser.
Transforms on contact with the Skin to naturally and gently cleanse and remove traces of Makeup, leaving Skin soft, clean and smooth.
Enriched with Australian Kakadu Plum, organic Coconut Water, Vitamin E and Sesame Oil.
90% natural origin.
Vegan and cruelty free.
It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Olive Fruit Oil, Water, Sesame Seed Oil, Kakadu Plum Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Caprylyl Glycol, Glycerin, Coconut Fruit Juice, Avocado Oil, Polyethylene, Sunflower Seed Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Vitamin E, Potassium Sorbate, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Linalool, BHT, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral and chemical Plastic scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a freshly washed Lunch Box.
It’s consistency.
I absolutely loved it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Balm To Oil Cleanser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Day Cream rather than a thick and heavy yet ever so slightly balmy Balm To Oil Cleanser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped a little bit of it out of it’s Tub and had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Day Cream into a thin and oily Cleansing Oil that spread really easily across my Face.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking a lot clearer, glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short wide cylindrical Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Primark PS… Naturals Balm To Oil Cleanser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral and chemical Plastic scent. I would have also really liked it if it had come in a much bigger Tub, as 50ml worth of a Cleanser is really easy to use up, especially when you’re using it every day.
