One of my favourite Skincare inventions from the past couple of years definitely has to be Ampoules, as I absolutely love how easy to use they are and that they usually contain quite a high dosage of Active Ingredients. The only trouble however is that they tend to be fairly expensive, especially when you only get enough to use over seven days. That’s why when I saw that Primark had released a Skin + Serum Ampoules range that contains a range of Active Ingredient lead Ampoules, including Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol, and Vitamin C whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check it out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pack of the Skin + Hyaluronic Acid Serum Ampoules, and a Pack of the Skin + Retinol Serum Ampoules, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Primark say about both amazing products.
The Primark PS… Skin + Hyaluronic Acid Serum Ampoules.
These Hyaluronic Acid Ampoules aim to hydrate and moisturise your Skin.
Presented in a pack of seven, these PS… Skin + Hyaluronic Acid Serum Ampoules are a perfect addition to any Skincare Routine. Ideal for those with a complexion that resides on the dehydrated to dry side, these Ampoules are formulated with 2% Hyaluronic Acid – an ingredient that seeks to impart and bind moisture into the Skin – and Jojoba Oil, which is rich in Vitamin E.
Simply split one open and pat into cleansed and toned Skin, or alternatively add to your favourite Face Cream to help boost its properties.
The Primark PS… Skin + Retinol Serum Ampoules.
Plump and perfect Skin with these essential Retinol Serum Ampoules.
If Retinol isn’t already part of your Skincare Routine, you’ll want it to be! Offering a Skin-friendly and enhancing dose of Retinol, Vitamin A, this deeply penetrating Serum is perfect for reducing the appearance of Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and enlarged Pores thanks to its plumping effect and, when used nightly, can be an essential for Anti-Ageing Routines.
Offering a week’s worth of Ampoules for nightly use or even more if you use every other night, this pack of seven is an essential for starting your Retinol journey!

Their scent.
I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Dimethicone, Cycllopentosiloxane, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Glycerol Behenate, Hydrolized Sodium Hyaluronate, Olive Fruit Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Carrot Root Extract, Carrot Seed Oil, and BetaCarotene, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly watery Sea Water scent to them that kind of reminded me of being at the Seaside when the Tide is coming in on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
What they did when I used them.
I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had torn one of them open and had pored it on to my Hand, it released lots of incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil all over my Hand, and then once I had started to massage it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Serum that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds. I however wasn’t really a massive fan of the Ampoules themselves though, as I found it incredibly difficult to tare them open, and in some instances had to just cut them open instead.
Their results.
I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but they also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used one of them.
Their packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of their packaging, as even though these came in a foiled back vacuum-packed Plastic Case inside a really thick Cardboard Envelope that kept the Ampoules really fresh until I was ready to use one of them, it’s Cardboard was incredibly hard to open and almost broke my Scissors when I tried to cut it open.

Their scent.
I really liked their scent, as even though they contained Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Olive Fruit Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Polysorbate 20, Retinol, Sweet Almond Oil, BHT, BHA, and Dog Rose Fruit Oil, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly oceanic Rose scent to them that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Bucket of Sea Water over a Rose Bush.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Primark PS… Skin + Hyaluronic Acid Serum Ampoules an eight out of ten, and the Primark PS… Skin + Retinol Serum Ampoules an eight out of ten.
