During the Summer all I basically Drink is Cold Brew Tea, as not only does it taste incredibly refreshing, I absolutely love that it can be made in an endless amount of different flavours. That’s why when I saw that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released their Summer 2021 collection, which includes Candy Floss, Jelly & Ice Cream, Peach & Orange, Peach Soda, Pear Cider, and Strawberry & Pomegranate, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pouch of the Pear Cider Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and bitter. It also said that you were supposed to brew it for six hours if you wanted to cold brew it, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I couldn’t really taste any of the Pear Pieces, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer all I could really taste was the Lime Leaves and Jasmine Blossom.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Pear Pieces, Rosehip, Orange Peel, Lime Leaves, Jasmine Blossom, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly juicy Pear taste to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Pear Cider on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Fruit Pieces stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Pear Cider Loose Leaf Tea a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly juicy Pear taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted even more of Pear and that it was also available as a Teabag.
