Walking Through A Grove Of Luscious Lychee Trees This Summer | The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Range

One of my favourite limited edition ranges from The Body Shop last year definitely had to be their Refreshing Passionfruit range, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Passionfruit scent. That’s why when I had heard that they had released a Luscious Lychee range that claims to contain a blend of Lychee Seed Extract and Aloe Vera Extract to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and delicious smelling Skin, I obviously had to pop down to my local The Body Shop store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Luscious Lychee Shower Cream, a Tub of the Luscious Lychee Body Scrub, a Tub of the Luscious Lychee Air-Whipped Body Butter, and a Packet of the Lychee Eye Sheet Masks, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what The Body Shop say about all four delicious smelling products.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sunflower Seed Oil, Coco-Glucoside, Sodium Chloride, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Polysorbate 20, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Gluconate, Linalool, Tocopherol, Citronellol, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Geraniol, Benzyl Salicylate, Lychee Seed Extract, Benzyl Alcohol, Denatonium Benzoate, CI 14700/Red 4, and CI 17200/Red 33, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Lychee scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Lychee Martini on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Body Lotion rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Shower Cream.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Gel-Cream Body Lotion into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Cream that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Lychee for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Body Scrub, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy Body Butter with little pieces of Walnut Shell in it rather than a thin and gritty yet ever so slightly gelatinous Body Scrub.

Their scent.

I absolutely loved their scent, as even though they contained Water, Glycerin, Propanediol, Alcohol Denat., PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Caprylyl/Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Benzyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Sunflower Seed Oil, Fragrance, Lychee Seed Extract, Linalool, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice Powder, Citronellol, Geraniol, Benzyl Salicylate, Alkanet Root Extract, and Tocopherol, I thought that they had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Lychee scent to them that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Lychee Martini on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

Their material.

I really liked their material, as these were made out of a very thick and soft Microfibre Tissue that felt really soft against my Skin and didn’t rip when i tried to remove them from their packaging.

Their size.

I really liked their size, as their individual Microfibre Tissue Patches were huge and actually managed to reach the Tip of my Nose.

What they did when I used them.

I really liked what these did when I used them, as once I had removed them from their packaging and had smooth them across my Under Eyes, they started to release lots of thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly watery Facial Serum all over my Skin that eventually set and securely stuck the pieces of Microfibre Tissue to my Under Eyes so that i could move around without worrying that they were going to fall off.

Their results.

I absolutely loved their results, as not only did these leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, refreshed, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but they also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter, a little bit younger and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used them. I also really liked that they managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines and Wrinkles that are around the corners of my Eyes, and that they didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.

Their packaging.

I really liked their packaging, as these came in a very secure rectangular Plastic Pouch that as well as keeping the Patches really fresh until I was ready to use them, also meant that none of their Serum leaked anywhere.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Shower Cream a nine out of ten, The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Body Scrub a nine point five out of ten, The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Air-Whipped Body Butter a nine out of ten, and The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Eye Sheet Masks an eight point five out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Luscious Lychee Shower Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Lychee scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had felt a little bit thicker.
