Even though i’m generally more of a Bath person rather than a Shower person, I do like taking a nice hot Shower at the end of a long day as it allows me to relax and unwind for a while before I go to Bed. That’s why when I saw that The Body Shop had released a Wellness range that contained three different sub-ranges including Boost, Breathe and Sleep that all aim to help your Wellbeing whilst I was out Shopping a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to check it out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Boost Uplifting Hair & Body Wash, a Jar of the Breathe Whisked Body Polish, and a Jar of the Sleep Balmy Body Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what The Body Shop say about all three delicious smelling products.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Coco-Sulfate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Propanediol, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Limonene, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Linalool, Olive Fruit Oil, and Sodium Chloride, I thought that it had a very strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly masculine Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of some very cheap Men’s Citrus Shower Gel.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hair & Body Wash, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly balmy Hair & Body Wash.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had massaged a little bit of it into my Skin and Hair, it turned from an incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Oil into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly frothy Hair & Body Wash that spread really easily across my Hair & Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave both my Hair & Body feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly masculine Orange for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it left my Hair looking extremely shiny, volumised and much healthier too.
It’s packaging..
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall cylindrical Aluminium Bottle with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sodium Chloride, Sea Salt, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Coco- Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Lava Powder, Citric Acid, Olive Fruit Oil, Limonene, Geraniol, and Linalool, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Eucalyptus scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you crush up some Eucalyptus Leaves.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Whisked Body Polish, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gloopy yet ever so slightly gritty, and was more like an incredibly thick and gloopy Shower Gel with little pieces of Coarse Sea Salt in it rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Whisked Body Polish. ,
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had massaged a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gloopy Shower Gel with little pieces of Coarse Sea Salt in it into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gritty Whisked Body Polish that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky smooth, soft, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and medicinal yet ever so slightly grassy Eucalyptus for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a screw top Aluminium Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Glycerin, Sunflower Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Distearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Rice Bran Wax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Fragrance, Brazil Nut Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Caprylyl Glycol, Olive Fruit Oil, Linalool, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Tocopherol, Coumarin, Limonene, Lavender Oil, Geraniol, and Sodium Hydroxide, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and medicinal yet ever so slightly creamy Lavender scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had soaked some Sprigs of Lavender in a massive Glass of Milk.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Balmy Body Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Body Lotion that spread really easily across my Body.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it smelling of delicious sweet and medicinal yet ever so slightly creamy Lavender for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The Body Shop Boost Uplifting Hair & Body Wash a seven point five out of ten, The Body Shop Breathe Whisked Body Polish a nine out of ten, and The Body Shop Sleep Balmy Body Cream an eight point five out of ten. I really liked The Body Shop Boost Uplifting Hair & Body Wash, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly masculine Orange scent. I really liked The Body Shop Breathe Whisked Body Polish, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and medicinal yet ever so slightly zesty Eucalyptus scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had actually contained some kind of Eucalyptus Oil and not just a fragrance blend. I really liked The Body Shop Sleep Balmy Body Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and medicinal yet ever so slightly creamy Lavender scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately just can’t justify spending £25 on a Body Cream as I think that there’s a lot of other Lavender scented Body Creams currently on the market that do a similar job for a lot less money.
