After trying and loving the Weleda Skin Food Nourishing Cleansing Balm , as I absolutely loved how squeaky clean, silky soft, soothed and moisturised it left my Skin feeling, I thought that it was about time that I tried some of their main range, especially some of their viral Skincare. That’s why when I saw that they were having a massive Sale whilst I was scrolling through Amazon, a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to hop on to their Store Front and check everything out. Well after scrolling through their Store Front for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Tube of Weleda Skin Food, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Sunflower Seed Oil, Lanolin, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Alcohol, Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate, Glycerin, Limonene, Wild Pansy Extract, Hydrolysed Beeswax, Sorbitan Olivate, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Matricaria Flower Extract, Calendula Flower Extract, Arginine, Zinc Sulfate, Fragrance, Linalool, Geraniol, Citral, and Coumarin, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you pick a perfectly ripened Lemon off of it’s Tree.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and balmy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Balm into a thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Hand Balm that spread really easily across my Body, Face and Hands.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall conical Metallic Tube with a Plastic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I found it really tricky to squeeze out exactly how much of it I wanted to use and would have preferred it if it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Jar.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Weleda Skin Food a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly zesty Lemon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in some kind of a Plastic Tub or Jar so that I could control exactly how much of it I was using.
