Yankee Candle have recently released their The Last Paradise Continued collection, which includes Cliffside Sunrise, Exotic Acai Bowl, Moonlit Cove, and Tropical Starfruit, and being the Candle addict that I am, as soon as I had heard that they had been released, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and pick them all up. Well i’ve been burning them for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.
Here’s what Yankee Candle say about all four delicious smelling Candles.
Yankee Candle Cliffside Sunrise.
The reward for your early outing, a warm breeze carries notes of exotic Fruit and Flowers as the first Morning Light reflects off the Water. Yankee Candle Cliffside Sunrise also contains top notes of Hibiscus, Strawberry and Dwarf Citrus, heart notes of Nectarine, Red Fruit and Geranium, and base notes of Champagne Nectar and Praline.
Yankee Candle Exotic Acai Bowl.
Exotic Fruit gathered from around the Island, naturally sweet and blended with notes of creamy Coconut with a hint of Rose and Jasmine. Yankee Candle Exotic Acai Bowl also contains top notes of Cassis, Coconut Milk and Cherry Syrup, heart notes of Rose Petals, Pink Jasmine and Coconut Cream, and base notes of Fruity Green, Musk and Vanilla.
Yankee Candle Moonlit Cove.
Slip away to a hidden Cove where the Moonlight sparkles on the Water while notes of Lemongrass, Ginger and woodsy Botanicals enchant the senses. Yankee Candle Moonlit Cove also contains top notes of Citrus, Lemongrass and Ginger, heart notes of Purselane, Nutmeg and Rainbow Eucalyptus, and base notes of Sea Washed Amber and Cedar Leaf.
Yankee Candle Tropical Starfruit.
Kissed by the Sun, juicy Starfruit, Pineapple and Citrus, just picked from the Grove and offered at the local Market. Yankee Candle Tropical Starfruit also contains top notes of Juicy Grapefruit, Pineapple and Ocean Breeze Accord, heart notes of Jasmine, Lily and Starfruit, and base notes of Vanilla, Agave and Plum.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Dwarf Citrus, Red Fruit, and Praline, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent to it that kind of reminded me of walking through a Strawberry Field on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Hibiscus, Strawberry, Red Fruit, Geranium, and Champagne Nectar, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Dwarf Citrus, Nectarine, or Praline, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I really liked it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill both my Room and the entire top floor of my House with it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.
It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 160 hours of delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent out of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Cassis, Pink Jasmine, and Vanilla, I thought that it had a very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk into the Bathroom after someone has just conditioned their Hair with some Supermarket Coconut Conditioner. I could definitely smell the Coconut Milk, Cherry Syrup, Rose Petals, Coconut Cream, and Vanilla, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Cassis, Jasmine, Fruity Green, or Musk, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

It’s burn time.
It said that you were supposed to get up to 150 hours of burn time out of this, but as I always kept my Wick trimmed, I easily got at least 155 hours of very overpowering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut scent out of it.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Ginger, Rainbow Eucalyptus, and Cedar Leaf, I thought that it had a very fresh and floral yet ever so slightly oceanic Amber scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Woman who’s wearing some very floral Perfume at the Beach. I could definitely smell the Citrus, Lemongrass, Perselane, Nutmeg, Sea Washed Amber, and Cedar Leaf, as I thought that they were all what gave it it’s very fresh and floral yet ever so slightly oceanic Amber scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Ginger or Rainbow Eucalyptus, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.
It’s scent throw.
I was actually really disappointed by it’s scent throw, as even though I thought that it smelt really strong in it’s Jar, this was unfortunately one of those scents that I only really noticed once I had gone out of and had come back into the Room again.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Ocean Breeze Accord, Jasmine, and Plum, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Pineapple scent to it that kind of reminded me of being sat by the Pool drinking a massive Glass of Pineapple Margarita on a boiling hot Summer’s Day. I could definitely smell the Juicy Grapefruit, Pineapple, Jasmine, Lily, Starfruit, and Plum, as I thought they were all what gave it it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Pineapple scent, but I couldn’t really smell any of the Ocean Breeze Accord, Vanilla, or Agave, as I thought that all of the other scents kind of overpowered them a little.

I absolutely loved it’s scent throw, as this managed to fill my Room, the entire top floor of my House and even some of the downstairs with it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Pineapple scent that lasted for hours even after I had blown it out.
It’s burn time.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Yankee Candle Cliffside Sunrise a nine out of ten, the Yankee Candle Exotic Acai Bowl a seven out of ten, the Yankee Candle Moonlit Cove a six point five out of ten, and the Yankee Candle Tropical Starfruit an eight out of ten. I really liked the Yankee Candle Cliffside Sunrise, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Strawberry scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Yankee Candle Exotic Acai Bowl, as I absolutely loved it’s very powerful scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very over powering sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly synthetic Coconut scent. I really liked the Yankee Candle Moonlit Cove, as I absolutely loved it’s burn time, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very fresh and floral yet ever so slightly oceanic Amber scent, or it’s very weak scent throw. I really liked the Yankee Candle Tropical Starfruit, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly floral Pineapple scent, it’s scent throw, and it’s burn time, but I unfortunately found that it started to give me a Headache whenever I burnt it for more than a couple of hours.
