With the Weather changing my Skin is going through it’s usual temper tantrum of becoming incredibly dry, dull and dehydrated as well as threatening to have an Eczema Flare-Up, which means that i’ve been lathering it in things that contain a blend of Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides and Peptides in a vain hope to return it to it’s generally silky soft, calm and hydrated feeling former self. That’s why when I saw that Boots had released a DermaCare Ceramides range that contains a blend of Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides and Peptides to leave you with silky soft, calm and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Bottle of the Intense Hydration Serum, a Tube of the Conditioning Eye Balm, and a Tube of the Moisturising Cream, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

It’s scent.
I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Carnosine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Sodium Hydroxide, Disodium EDTA, Octyldodecanol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ceramide NP, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sucrose Stearate, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Phospholipids, Ceramide NS, Ceramide NG, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP, and Ceramide EOP, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Whole Milk scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a massive Bottle of Whole Milk.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hydration Serum, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Hydration Serum.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Facial Oil into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Facial Essence that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to calm, sooth and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of a Flare-Up.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes, and in some cases actually managed to calm, sooth and hydrate them whenever I was in the middle of a Flare-Up.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Hot Cloth Cleanser into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Moisturising Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Intense Hydration Serum a nine out of ten, the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Conditioning Eye Balm a nine point five out of ten, and the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Moisturising Cream a nine out of ten. I really liked the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Intense Hydration Serum, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and oily yet ever so slightly creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Whole Milk scent. I also wish that it was available in a much bigger Bottle. I really liked the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Conditioning Eye Balm, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Whole Milk scent. I also wish that it was available in a much bigger Tube. I really liked the Boots DermaCare Ceramides Moisturising Cream, as I absolutely loved it’s incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly musky Whole Milk scent. I also wish that it was available in a much bigger Tube.
