One of the things that I absolutely love about Lush, especially when it comes to their Bath Bombs, Bubble Bars, and Shower Gels, definitely has to be that they always try to take inspiration from other customs and cultures from around the World to launch some cool and quirky products. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an Ippuku range that claims to be inspired by the Japanese concept of Ippuku, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up an Ippuku Dan Warming Mini Bath Bombs Gift Set, and an Ippuku Ryo Cooling Mini Bath Bombs Gift Set, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Soybean Flower, Cornstarch, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, Tonka Absolute, Vetivert Oil, Tobacco Absolute, Vanilla Absolute, Noto Sea Salt, Kombu Seaweed Powder, Cream Of Tartar, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Tin Oxide, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Coumarin, Limonene, Colour 77491, Colour 77499, Colour 77492, Colour 15985:1, and Colour 19140:1, I thought that it had a delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly sweet Tobacco scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you used to smell whenever you walked into a really smokey Bar or Restaurant back in the late nineties.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning shimmering pale Red colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly sweet Tobacco for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Hinata Mini Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Cardamom Absolute, Coffee Absolute, Noto Sea Salt, Akamoku Seaweed Powder, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Coumarin, Eugenol, Colour 47005:1, Colour 15985:1, Colour 19140:1, Colour 1510, and Colour 19140, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Toffee Apple scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you eat a Toffee Apple infant of a roaring Fire on Bonfire Night.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous dark Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning dark Red colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Toffee Apple for hours after I had used it.

The Lush San San Mini Bath Bomb.

Its scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Noto Sea Salt, Buchu Oil, Davana Oil, Juniperberry Oil, Lime Oil, Neroli Oil, Wakame Seaweed Powder, Cream Of Tartar, Water, Titanium Dioxide, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluophlogopite, Tin Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 45410:1, Colour 45410:2, Colour 45410, Colour 15850:1, Colour 47005:1, Colour 77491, and Colour 17200, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Plum Sake scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Plum Sake before eating a massive Plate of Sushi.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning shimmering bright Red colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Plum Sake for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Fuurin Mini Bath Bomb.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Titanium Dioxide, Cedarwood Oil, Cypress Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Peppermint Oil, Fur Balsam Resinoid, Demerara Sugar, Wakame Seaweed Powder, Cream Of Tartar, Cornstarch, Talc, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Tin Oxide, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 45410:2, Colour 42090:2, Colour 77491, and Colour 77499, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you crush up some Mint Leaves to make a Mojito.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning pale Blue colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Kokage Mini Bath Bomb.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Juniper Berry Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Mango Leaf Absolute, Pink Pepper Oil, Demerara Sugar, Kombucha Seaweed Powder, Water, Cream Of Tartar, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Dipropylene Glycol, Tin Oxide, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene, Colour 47005:1, Colour 42090, Colour 42090:1, Colour 19140:1, and Colour 77490:1, I thought that it had a very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Juniper berry scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had accidentally spilt an entire Bottle of Gin and then had set it on Fire.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous bright Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning shimmering bright Blue colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Juniper Berry for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Uchimizu Mini Bath Bomb.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Fragrance, Chamomile Blue Oil, Roman Chamomile Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Grapefruit Oil, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Tagetes Oil, Demerara Sugar, Akamoku Seaweed Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Cream Of Tartar, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Synthetic Fluophlogopite, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 42090, and Colour 45410, I thought that it had a delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly musky Grapefruit scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a perfectly ripened Grapefruit.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple off seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright White Foam and gorgeous dark Blue all over the surface of the Water that eventually turned my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Blue colour. I also really liked that once it had finished fizzing and hissing, that it released little pieces of Seaweed all over the surface of the Water that eventually dissolved and left the Water feeling really silky soft.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly musky Grapefruit for hours after I had used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Hivana Mini Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Hinita Mini Bath Bomb an eight point five out of ten, the Lush San San Mini Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Furrin Mini Bath Bomb a nine out of ten, the Lush Kokage Mini Bath Bomb a five out of ten, and the Lush Uchimizu Mini Bath Bomb an eight out of ten. I really liked the Lush Hivana Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and smokey yet ever so slightly sweet Tobacco scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Vanilla. I really liked the Lush Hinita Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Toffee Apple scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit bigger. I really liked the Lush San San Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly grassy Plum Sake scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit stronger. I really liked the Lush Furrin Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and minty yet ever so slightly grassy Peppermint scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Kokage Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange deep and grassy yet ever so slightly fruity Juniper Berry scent. I really liked the Lush Uchimizu Mini Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and zesty yet ever so slightly musky Grapefruit scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Grapefruit.
