Lately no matter how many different Lip Balms, Lip Oils, or Lip Scrubs I use, I always seem to wake up with dry, chapped and flaky Lips, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will return them to their silky soft, smooth and moisturised feeling former self. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a Hydration Box that contained a Jar of the Laneige Berry Lip Sleeping Mask that claims to exfoliate, soften and moisturise your Lips overnight whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

How to use.
1. Before going to Bed at Night, apply an adequate amount to your Lips using the included Spatula.
2. The next Morning, gently wipe your Lips with Tissue or a Cotton Pad.
Its taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Diisostearyl Malate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Phytosteryl/Isostearyl/Cetyl/Stearyl/Behenyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Hydrogenated C6-14 Olefin Polymers, Polybutene, Microcrystalline Wax, Shea Butter, Synthetic Wax, Candelilla Wax, Sucrose Tetrastearate Triacetate, Hydrogenated Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Mica, murumuru Seed Butter, Titanium Dioxide, Dimethicone, Aromatics, Polyglyceryl-2 Diisostearate, Dehydroacetic Acid, Methicone, Carnauba Wax, Polyglyceryl-2 Triisostearate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Water, Potassium Alginate, Propanediol, Glycerin, Alcohol, Goji Fruit Extract, Cranberry Fruit Extract, Strawberry Fruit Extract, Raspberry Fruit Extract, Indian Soapberry Fruit Extract, Blueberry Fruit Extract, Cloudberry Seed Extract, Coffee Extract, Quinoa Seed Extract, Magnesium Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta-Glucan, Manganese Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Ascorbyl Glucoside, CI 15985, and CI 15850, I thought that it had a very faint sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry taste to it that kind of reminded me of the taste you get after you’ve finished eating a Strawberry Mini Milk Ice Lolly.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Lip Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Styling Cream rather than a thick and balmy yet ever so slightly creamy Lip Mask.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had scooped some of it out of it’s Jar using it’s Rubberised Applicator and had started to swipe it across my Lips, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gloopy Styling Cream into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Lip Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
it’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Lips feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking a little bit glossy, a little bit plumper and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Jar with a screw top Lid and a Rubberised Applicator that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Laneige Berry Lip Sleeping Mask an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very faint sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry taste, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in some other flavours, like Cherry, Lemon, or maybe even Mango, as it’s very faint sweet and fruity yet ever so slightly creamy Strawberry scent tended to linger around for a little bit longer on my Lips than I would have liked.
