I don’t tend to use Skincare thats’ been specifically designed for Men all that much, as I find that Traditional Skincare like a Hot Cloth Cleanser, a Hyaluronic Acid Serum or a Vitamin C Serum generally gives me much better results. However, one of the Men’s Skincare Brands that I always return to time and time again definitely has to be L’Oreal Paris Men Expert, as it’s one of the first ever major Skincare Brands that I fell in love with. That’s why when I saw that they had released a Hydra Power Refreshing Moisturiser that claims to contain Mountain Water and Hyaluronic Acid to leave you with refreshed and hydrated Skin whilst I was scrolling through Superdrug’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Peppermint Leaf Extract, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Edelweiss Extract, Nylon-12, Ammonium Polyacryldimethyltauramide/Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Caprylyl Glycol, Citric Acid, Polyphosphorylcholine Glycol Accrylate, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol,Shea Butter Seedcake Extract, Phenoxyethanol, CI 42090/Blue 1, and Fragrance, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly masculine Sea Water scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a perfectly groomed Gentleman at the Beach.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Moisturiser, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Yoghurt rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Moisturiser.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Body Yoghurt into a thin and watery yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Cream Moisturiser that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, intensely hydrated and moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, clearer and much healthier for hours after I had used it.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Plastic Pump Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves. I also really liked that it’s Pump Bottle released just enough product to cover my Face and Neck with just one pump rather than having to press it several times.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the L’Oreal Paris Men Expert Hydra Power Refreshing Moisturiser a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly masculine Sea Water scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Bottle as 50ml of a Moisturiser doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re applying it both morning and night like you’re supposed to do.
