I absolutely love a good bit of nostalgia, especially when it comes to some of the Video Games that I used to play as a Child like Spiro, Super Mario, and Theme Hospital, as it instantly takes me back to being a Child and the feeling that I got whenever I managed to finish another level on whatever Game I was playing. That’s why when I had heard that Lush had released a Lush X Super Mario Bros. Movie range that claims to be inspired by all of the different Characters in both the Game and the Movie, I obviously had to pop down to my local Lush store and check everything out. Well after giving everything a good sniff, I eventually picked up a Question Block 2-in-1 Bath Bomb, a Bottle of Mario Shower Gel, a Tub of Bowser Shower Jelly, a Tub of Princess Peach Shower Jelly, and a Bottle of Princess Preach Body Spray, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Lush say about all five amazing products.

The Question Block 2-in-1 Bath Bomb.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Water, Rapeseed Oil, Coconut Oil, Cornstarch, Glycerine, Alcohol Denat, Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Cream Of Tartar, Potassium Bitotrate, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Sodium Chloride, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Tin Oxide, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Silica, Sodium Hydroxide, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, EDTA, Tetrisodium Etidronate, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamal, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 47005, Colour 77491, Colour 19140, Colour 19140:1, Colour 14700, Colour 47005:1, and Colour 42090, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Cinnamon and Almond scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Disaronno and Coke in front of a roaring Fire on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once it hit the Water, it fizzed and hissed for a couple of seconds before releasing streams of beautiful bright Yellow all over the surface of the Water, and then after a couple more seconds it also released streams of dazzling bright Red all over the surface of the Water that eventually blended together to turn my entire Bath a stunning shimmering dark Orange colour. I also really liked that once it had finally finished fizzing and hissing, that it released an adorable Block of Soap that made it look like I was actually playing a Game of Super Mario Bros. in my Bath.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Cinnamon and Almond for hours after I had used it.

The Lush Mario Shower Gel.

Its scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Persian Lime Oil, Aniseed Oil, Black Pepper Oil, Benzoim Resinoid, Fresh Pomegranate Juice, Carrageenan Extract, Titanium Dioxide, Citral, Limonene, and Colour 73360, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Cola on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Shower Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Slime into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly frothy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cinnamon and Almond for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging ,as this came in a tall cylindrical Clear Plastic Bottle with a clickable Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Bowser Shower Jelly.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Anise and Cinnamon Stick Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Cinnamon Leaf Oil, Clove Leaf Oil, Lime Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, Benzyl Benzoate, Xinnamal, Coumarin, Eugenol, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance, Colour 77491, Colour 14700, and Colour 47005, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Cinnamon scent to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Hot Toddy on a freezing cold Winter’s Day.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it started to release lots of thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Shower Gel that spread really easily across my Body.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly squeaky clean, silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, moisturised and intensely hydrated ,but it also left it smelling of delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Cinnamon for hours after I had used it.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Black Plastic Tub with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

The Lush Princess Peach Shower Jelly.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Glycerine, Fresh Peach Infusion, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Organic Sweet Orange Oil, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, Champaca Blossom, Titanium Dioxide, Water, Benzyl Alcohol, Citral, Limonene, Colour 17200, Colour 45410, and Colour 45382, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Peach scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you open a Can of Preserved Peaches.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shower Jelly, I thought that it felt really tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy, and was more like a very tough and rubbery yet ever so slightly squishy Ball of Rubber rather than a squishy and slimy yet ever so slightly watery Shower Jelly.

The Lush Princess Peach Body Spray.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Alcohol Denat, Water, Fragrance, Glycerine, Limonene, Organic Sweet Orange Oil, Buchu Oil, Litsea Cubeba Oil, Olibanum Resinoid, and Champaca Blossom Absolute, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Peach and Pineapple scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Pineapple Juice over an entire Punnet of  Peaches.

It’s longevity.

I really liked how long this lasted on my Skin, as I sprayed a little bit of it on to my Wrists, Neck and Clothes when I was getting ready at about eight o’clock in the morning, and I could still faintly smell it on my Skin when I sat down to have my Dinner at about five o’clock in the evening.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a tall Black Plastic Kitchen Spray Bottle that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, they’ve unfortunately recently changed the Spray Mechanism of their Body Spray Bottles so that once you’ve sprayed it it locks and you have to wait a couple of seconds before you can spray it again.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Lush Question Block 2-in-1 Bath Bomb an eight out of ten, the Lush Mario Shower Gel a nine out of ten, the Lush Bowser Shower Jelly a nine out of ten, the Lush Princess Peach Shower Jelly a nine out of ten, and the Lush Princess Peach Body Spray a nine point five out of ten. I really liked the Lush Question Block 2-in-1 Bath Bomb, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fruity Cinnamon and Almond scent, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had been a little bit cheaper, as even though it contained a Block of Soap I just can’t justify spending £14 on a Bath Bomb. I really liked the Lush Mario Shower Gel, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly fizzy Cola scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Lush Bowser Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Cinnamon scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Cinnamon. I really liked the Lush Princess Peach Shower Jelly, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly sweet Peach scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had smelt a little bit more of Peach. I really liked the Lush Princess Peach Body Spray, as I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and fruity yet ever so slightly zesty Peach and Pineapple scent, and it’s longevity, but I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very annoying to use packaging.
