The Origins Of Glowing Skin | Origins Ginseng™ Glow-Boosting Mask

Unfortunately during the Winter, no matter what I do my Skin tends to get incredibly dry, dehydrated and dull, which means that i’m always on the lookout for anything that will return it to it’s silky soft, hydrated and glowing looking former self. That’s why when I saw that Beauty Bay had released a Hydration Box that contained a Tube of the Origins Ginseng™ Glow Boosting Mask that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and glowing looking Skin after just one use whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Origins say about their Ginseng™ Glow-boosting Mask.

Instant glow, instant hydration, long-term brightening.

What it is.

A hydrating Gel Face Mask with Vitamin C and Encapsulated Mineral Optics—for an instant, healthy-looking glow & brighter skin over time.

What It Does.

Our best Face Mask for glowing Skin, this leave-on Mask—with our signature uplifting GinZing™ scent, brightens Skin instantly and long term. It also boosts moisture +102% and delivers the perfect bare-skin or under-makeup glow. The formula features our 3-Glow Complex, which delivers ingredients in three fresh ways. How to use.

Its scent.

I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Cetearyl Isononanoate, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Olive Fruit Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Steareth-21, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Caffeine, Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Betaine, Sucrose, Glycine, Mannitol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Triethyl Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Sodium Hydroxide, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Lecithin, Tin Oxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Caprylyl Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Steareth-2, Acrylates /Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Sodium Phytate, Phenoxyethanol, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Orange Peel Oil, Spearmint Leaf Oil, Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, CI 77891, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 19140, and CI 15985, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly bitter Orange scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you cut into a perfectly ripened Orange.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Glow Face Mask, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Night Cream rather than a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Glow Face Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly gelatinous Night Cream into a thin and creamy yet ever so slightly watery Overnight Face Mask that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter, a little bit younger and much healthier for at least an entire 24 hours after I had used it.,

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Origins Ginseng™ Glow Boosting Mask a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and zesty yet ever so slightly bitter Orange scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had left my Skin looking a little bit more brighter. I also just can’t justify spending £33 on a Face Mask, as I think that there are a lot of other Face Masks currently on the market that do a similar job for a lot less money.
