One of the main reasons that I don’t use any kind of Eye Cream anymore is because unless it’s very gentle and contains Cica, Ceramides, or Peptides, it tends to irritate my Under-Eyes and cause an Eczema Flare-Up. Recently though, because I haven’t been getting that much sleep, my Under-Eyes have been looking really dark, dry and puffy. That’s why when I saw that the Boots 24 Days of Skincare 2025 Advent Calendar contained a Tube of The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream that claims to leave you with silky soft, hydrated and brighter-looking Under-Eyes whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

It’s scent.
I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Glycerin, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Propanediol, Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Behenate, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Jojoba Esters, Persian Silk Tree Bark Extract, Squalane, Caffeine, Polyglyceryl-3, Beeswax, Phospholipids, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Soybean Oil, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Phytate, Glycolipids, Sorbitan Isostearate, Butylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Glycine Soybean Sterols, Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Carbomer, Darutoside, Sodium Lactate, Polysorbate 20, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, I thought that it had a very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Soybean scent to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured some Semi-Skimmed Milk over a massive Bowl of crushed up Soybeans.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily, and was more like an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Milk rather than a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly balmy Eye Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Under-Eyes, it turned from an incredibly thin and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Cleansing Milk into a thin and oily yet ever so slightly creamy Eye Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under-Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, soothed, calm, refreshed, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, more awake, less puffy and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a long and thin conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid and a Nozzle Applicator that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate The INKEY List Caffeine Eye Cream an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile sweet and creamy yet ever so slightly woody Soybean scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained a little bit more Caffeine to leave my Under-Eyes looking even more awake and feeling less puffy.
