When it starts to get a little bit warmer all I basically drink is Cold Brew Tea, as I absolutely love how refreshing it tastes and that I can experiment with loads of different flavours. One of my favourite Cold Brew Tea’s to make though definitely has to be the Bird & Blend Tea Company Peach & Elderflower Bellini Loose Leaf Tea, but unfortunately they’ve recently discontinued it which means that i’ve been on the hunt for anything that either tastes similar or at least contains Peach. That’s why when I saw that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released a Blueberry & Peach Loose Leaf Tea that claims to taste just like Ribena and is great for Cold Brewing whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been drinking it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

You’ll love me if you love.
Orange & Peach, Mermaid Mist, or Eaton Mess.
It’s brewing time.
it said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of very faint Peach Cordial, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and basically just tasted of very out of date Blueberry Juice. It also said that you were supposed to brew it for six hours if you wanted to Cold Brew it, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I couldn’t really taste any of the Freeze-Dried Peach, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer all i could really taste was the Freeze-Dried Blueberry.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Apple Pieces, Hibiscus, Rosehip, Blue Pea Flowers, Freeze-Dried Blueberry, Freeze-Dried Peach, Orange Peel, and natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blueberry & Peach taste to it that kind of reminded me of drinking a massive Glass of Blueberry Ribena on a boiling hot Summer’s Day.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Fruit Pieces stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Blueberry & Peach Loose Leaf Tea a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and fruity yet ever so slightly floral Blueberry & Peach taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Peach.

I haven’t tried cold brewing tea, I didn’t know it was even a thing until very recently! Does it really taste different than hot tea brewing and then cooling it down?
I love your reviews btw, as you really communicate well what your senses are feeling with the product. I can almost taste this tea as I read it! 🙂
Thanks, i’m glad you liked the review. Cold Brewing is amazing as all of the flavour properly comes out. I definitely recommend giving it a go.
