If you didn’t already know, I love relaxing with a nice hot Cup of Tea at the end of a long day, especially during Winter when it’s absolutely freezing cold outside. That’s why when I had heard that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released a Christmas 2023 collection, which includes Gingerbread Chai, Hazelnut Rocher, Mulled Cider, Salted Caramel Lebkuchen, and Tis The Squeezon, I obviously had to pop down to my local Bird & Blend Tea Company store and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Hazelnut Rocher Teabag Gift, and a Tis The Squeezon Teabag Gift, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Now, we all know the best part of Christmas Morning is the Satsuma in your Stocking right? Right? Okay maybe not the best part but definite points for nostalgia!
We were inspired by all the Festive Orange flavours, from Glazes on Roasts, to Pomanders to that classic Stocking Satsuma, to create this dazzling Christmas Citrus Blend. Orange notes are paired with Spices in this Fruit Tea Blend, to give you Christmas in a Cup – Merry Citrus!

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of really sweet Sugar Water, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely bitter and just tasted of Sri Lankan Black Tea and Fenugreek.
It’s taste.
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Sri Lankan Black Tea, Cocoa Nibs, Cocoa Shells, Fenugreek, Sprinkles (Sugar, Carnauba Wax, Gum Arabic, Curcumin, Anthocyanins, Titanium Dioxide, Potassium Aluminium Silicate, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly nutty Hazelnut taste to it that kind of reminded me of eating a Ferrero Rocher on Christmas Day.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very thick Cardboard Carton that kept all of the Teabags really fresh until I was ready to use one of them.

I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Apple Pieces, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Cloves, Orange Peel, Red Peppercorns, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had blended up a Pomanda into a massive Mug of Chai Tea.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a very thick Cardboard Carton that kept all of the Teabags really fresh until I was ready to use one of them.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Hazelnut Rocher Teabag Gift a nine out of ten, and the Bird & Blend Tea Company Tis The Squeezon Teabag Gift an eight out of ten. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Hazelnut Rocher Teabag Gift, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly nutty Hazelnut taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was part of their main range. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Tis The Squeezon Teabag Gift, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and spicy yet ever so slightly zesty Orange and Clove taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Orange Peel.
