I absolutely love relaxing with a nice Cup of Tea at the end of a long day, especially at Christmas, as I love sitting by a roaring Fire with a nice Cup of Tea whilst a Christmas Film is playing in the background. That’s why when I had heard that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released their Christmas 2020 collection, which includes Fairytale of NY, Mulled Cider, Panettone, Salted Caramel Lebkuchen, and Snowball, I obviously had to hop on to their Website and check everything out. Well after browsing their Website for a good half an hour, I eventually picked up a Pouch of the Panettone Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Our first Christmas Green Tea blend really doesn’t disappoint… In fact founder Krisi said it is her new favourite of all time and she doesn’t like Green Tea! Slightly sweet with subtile Spice and Fruit notes, it really does taste like a Festive Panettone!

It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for 3 minutes at 80ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer I thought that it tasted extremely nutty and bitter.
It’s taste
I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Chinese Sencha Green Tea, Chinese Chunmee Green Tea, Schizandra Berries, Apple Pieces, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Orange Peel, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly buttery Panettone taste to it that kind of reminded me of being sat in front of a roaring hot Fire eating a massive slice of Toasted Panettone on a freezing cold Winter’s Night.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Tea Leaves stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Panettone Loose Leaf Tea an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious sweet and nutty yet ever so slightly buttery Panettone taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was also available in a Teabag for when I needed to make a Cup of Tea in a hurry.
