Tea Tastes Terrific | Bird & Blend Tea Company Valentine’s Day 2026 Collection

Even though i’m not really a massive fan of Valentine’s Day, I absolutely love all of the delicious tasting Treats that everywhere starts to release, like Heart shaped Cookies, Milk  or White Chocolate-covered Strawberries, and anything Pink Prosecco flavoured.. That’s why when I had heard that Bird & Blend Tea Company had released a Valentine’s Day 2026 collection, which includes Love Potion, and Red Velvet, I obviously had to pop down to my local Bird & Blend Tea Company store and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pouch of Love Potion Loose Leaf Tea, and a Pouch of Red Velvet Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of them.

Here’s what Bird & Blend Tea Company say about both delicious tasting Teas.

The Bird & Blend Tea Company Love Potion Loose Leaf Tea.

Love in a Mug. A magical blend of Chocolate, Rose & Strawberry. This Black Tea combines Chocolate, strawberries, Rose Petals and Love Heart Candies, it tastes so good you’ll fall in love, we promise, with the Tea that is!
Warning. May cause excessive oohs, and ahhhs, along with giggles and smooching your Mug… You have been warned!

  • Tastes like, Chocolate, floral, sweet.
  • Black Tea, medium Caffeine.

The Bird & Blend Tea Company Red Velvet Loose Leaf Tea.

Indulge in a slice of our rich Red Velvet cake tea, it really is as decadent as it sounds, with luxurious Sri Lankan black tea, cocoa shells, sweet beetroot slices & pomegranate flowers.
Take your afternoon tea to the next level. This blend is also a pink tea thanks to the beetroot, so add a splash of milk to see it in all its Red Velvet glory!

  • Tastes like, Chocolate, Dessert, sweet.

It’s brewing time.

It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of really sweet Water, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and just tasted of Sri Lankan Black Tea.

It’s taste.

I absolutely loved it’s taste, as even though it contained Sri Lankan Black Tea, Cocoa Shells, Rose Petals, Freeze-Dried Strawberry, SPRINKLES (Sugar, Potato Starch, Maltodextrin, Vegetable Fat, Anthocyanins, Paprika, Beetroot, Carnauba Wax, Calendula Petals, Vanilla Pieces, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly fruity Chocolate and Strawberry taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Mug of Black Tea over a massive Bowl of Milk Chocolate-covered Strawberries.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive rectangular resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Tea Leaves stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Love Potion Loose Leaf Tea a nine out of ten, and the Bird & Blend Tea Company Red Velvet Loose Leaf Tea an eight out of ten. I really liked the Bird & Blend Tea Company Love Potion Loose Leaf Tea, as I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly fruity Chocolate and Strawberry taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had tasted a little bit more of Strawberry.
