From their Mocktail collection, to their Pancake Day 2026 collection, and even their Valentine’s Day 2026 collection, Bird & Blend Tea Company has been absolutely knocking it out of the Park with all of their delicious tasting Teas lately. That’s why when I had heard that they had released an Easter 2026 collection, which includes Bunny Hop, Cream Egg, Golden Egg, Golden Egg Sticky Chai, and Jam Jar Hojicha, I obviously had to pop down to my local Bird & Blend Tea Company store and check everything out. Well after checking everything out, I eventually picked up a Pouch of Bunny Hop Loose Leaf Tea, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what Bird & Blend Tea Company say about their Bunny Hop Loose Leaf Tea.
Meet Bunny Hop, a luxurious Black Tea base blended with Chocolate Nibs for decadence & a hint of Toasted Rice to bring that Easter-Time Sweet Treat hit. Complete with White & Pink Vegan Marshmallows, or are they fluffy Bunny Tails?! This Tea is best enjoyed with Milk, frothy or not, and brews bright Pink too! Go on, pop some extra Marshmallows on top!
- Tastes like, Chocolate, Dessert, sweet.
- Black Tea, medium Caffeine.
It’s brewing time.
It said that you were supposed to brew this for four minutes at 100ºC, which I thought was the perfect amount of time, as whenever I brewed it for any less I thought that it tasted incredibly weak and basically just tasted of really sweet Water, and that whenever I brewed it for any longer that it tasted extremely sour and just tasted of Sri Lankan Black Tea and Cocoa Nibs.
It’s taste.
I really liked it’s taste, as even though it contained Sri Lankan Black Tea, Beetroot, Cocoa Nibs, Toasted Rice, Jasmine Blossom, Cornflowers, Vegan Marshmallows, Fructose Syrup, Sugar, Dextrose, Carrageenan, Maize Starch, Hydrolized Rice Protein, Vanilla, Polyphosphate, Calcium Carbonate, and Natural Flavouring, I thought that it had a delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate taste to it that kind of reminded me of if someone had poured an entire Mug of really strong Black Tea over a crushed up Easter Egg that has some Toasted Rice and Marshmallow Inclusions.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive rectangular resealable Paper Pouch which meant that all of the Tea Leaves stayed extremely fresh and didn’t lose any of their delicious flavour.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Bird & Blend Tea Company Bunny Hop Loose Leaf Tea an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s brewing time, it’s delicious deep and chocolatey yet ever so slightly creamy Milk Chocolate taste, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it had contained even more Toasted Rice and Vegan Marshmallows. I also thought that the fact that it brewed bright Pink and contained Vegan Marshmallows was a really nice added touch that made drinking it even more enjoyable.
