If you didn’t already know, I’ve always terribly suffered with Dark Circles and Bags underneath my Eyes, but given that i’m a Chronic Insomniac, I guess that’s kind of to be expected. That’s why when I saw that The Beauty Worx had released an Eye Treat Gel that claims to address Dark Circles and the Bags that are underneath your Eyes to help you look more awake whilst I was scrolling through TK Maxx’s Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what The Beauty Worx say about their Eye Treat Gel.

We all know the strains that lack of sleep, Allergies, stress and thinning Skin can cause to our delicate Eye Area. If you’re looking to address Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Dark Circles or Bags underneath your Eyes, then our moisturising Eye Treat Gel can assist in improving the Skin complexion and appearance of troubled areas.

• Helps reduce the appearance of Dark Circles and Bags underneath your Eyes.
• Improves Skin complexion and smoothness.
• Helps reduce the appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles.

How to use.

After cleansing, apply above the Cheek Bone and around the contours of your Eye in a quick patting motion.

It’s scent.

I really liked it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, PEG-16 Macadamia Glycerides, Green Micro Algae, Glycerin, Bacillus Ferment, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, and Tocopherol Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, I thought that it had a very subtile fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Green Algae scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a hidden Cave at the Beach.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called an Eye Treat Gel, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy, and was more like an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Cream Moisturiser rather than a thin and watery yet ever so slightly gelatinous Eye Gel.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Gel Cream Moisturiser into a thin and gelatinous yet ever so slightly creamy Eye Gel that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.

It’s results.

I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Under Eyes feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy and intensely hydrated, but it also left them looking extremely glowing, radiant, awake, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it managed to ever so slightly minimise some of the Fine Lines, Dark Circles and Bags that are underneath my Eyes too.

It’s packaging.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s packaging, as even though this came in a short conical Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves, I would have preferred it if it had come in a Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid as I tended to squeeze far too much out whenever I used it.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate The Beauty Worx Eye Treat Gel an eight point five out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s very subtile fresh and oceanic yet ever so slightly grassy Green Algae scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, and it’s results, but I just wish that it had come in a Glass Bottle with a Rubber Pipette Lid rather than a Plastic Tube with a screw top Lid   so that I could control how much I was using.
