I’ve religiously used some kind of Retinol in my Evening Skincare Routine for years now, but I always like to change up the percentage and formula of the Retinol that I use every now and again so that my Skin doesn’t get too used to it and stop working. That’s why when I saw that the Holland and Barrett 2024 Beauty Advent Calendar contained a Jar of the Vitaskin Rejuvenating Vitamin A Night Cream that claims to leave you with silky soft, moisturised and younger-looking Skin whilst I was scrolling through their Website a couple of weeks ago, I obviously had to pick it up. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

Here’s what VitaSkin say about their Rejuvenating Vitamin A Night Cream.
This Rejuvenating Night Cream is packed with Retinoids and Carrot Seed Oil containing high levels of Vitamin A and Vitamin E to help brighten and even Skin tone as well as reduce the appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles.
How to use.
Apply as the final step in your Skincare Routine.
It’s scent.
I absolutely loved it’s scent, as even though it contained Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Pentaerythrityl Distearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Shea Butter, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Xanthan Gum, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzoic Acid, 1,2-hexanediol, Lactic Acid, Carrot Seed Oil, Rose Geranium Flower Oil, Lavender Flower Oil, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, and Citral, I thought that it had a delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Rose Geranium scent to it that kind of reminded me of the scent you smell whenever you walk past a Bed of Roses on a balmy Spring Afternoon.
It’s consistency.
I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Night Cream, I thought that it felt incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery, and was more like an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery Body Cream rather than a thick and heavy yet ever so slightly creamy Night Cream.
What it did when I used it.
I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Skin, it turned from an incredibly thick and creamy yet ever so slightly buttery Body Cream into a thick and creamy yet ever so slightly oily Night Cream that sank into my Skin within a matter of seconds.
It’s results.
I absolutely loved it’s results, as not only did this leave my Skin feeling incredibly silky soft, smooth, plump, bouncy, hydrated and intensely moisturised, but it also left it looking extremely glowing, radiant, brighter, a little bit younger and much healthier for hours after I had used it. I also really liked that it didn’t manage to irritate the Patches of Eczema that I get underneath my Eyes.
It’s packaging.
I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a short cylindrical Glass Jar with a metallic screw top Lid that looked beautiful sat on my Beauty Shelves.
My overall thoughts.
Overall I would have to rate the Vitaskin Rejuvenating Vitamin A Night Cream a nine out of ten. I absolutely loved it’s delicious fresh and floral yet ever so slightly sweet Rose Geranium scent, it’s consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I just wish that it was available in a much bigger Jar, as 30ml of a Night Cream doesn’t last that long, especially if you’re using it every Night like you’re supposed to do.
