The Nectar Of Soft Hair | Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Haircare Collection

During the warmer months my Hair tends to get incredibly dehydrated, which means that i’m always on the look out for anything that will return it to it’s soft and moisturised former self. That’s why when the guys over at Organic Shop very kindly asked me if I would like to try their Avocado & Honey Haircare collection, I of course said yes. Well i’ve been using it for a little while now, and I thought that I would tell you what I thought of it.

The Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Hair Mask.

It’s scent.

I wasn’t really a massive fan of it’s scent, as even though it contained Organic Avocado and Organic Honey, I thought that it had a very strange sweet and creamy yet almost grassy scent to it that kind of reminded me of a mix between Coconut and out of date White Chocolate.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Hair Mask, I thought that it felt really thick, and was more like a thick and heavy Day Cream rather than a thick and gloopy Hair Mask.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from a thick and heavy Day Cream into a thin and gloopy Hair Mask that was really easy to spread through my Hair.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly silky soft and moisturised, but it also left it looking incredibly shiny and full of volume too.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a massive plastic tub with a clickable lid that as well as feeling really secure also looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

It’s consistency.

I really liked it’s consistency, as even though it was called a Shampoo, I thought that it felt incredibly thin and watery, and was more like a thin and watery Hair Serum rather than a thick and creamy Shampoo.

What it did when I used it.

I really liked what this did when I used it, as once I had started to massage a little bit of it into my Hair, it turned from a thin and watery Hair Serum into a thick and creamy Shampoo that created a really nice thick and creamy lather.

It’s results.

I really liked it’s results, as not only did this leave my Hair feeling incredibly silky soft and moisturised, but it also left it looking really shiny and full of volume too.

It’s packaging.

I really liked it’s packaging, as this came in a tall plastic bottle with a pump that as well as being really easy to use in the Shower also looked beautiful sat on my Beauty shelves.

My overall thoughts.

Overall I would have to rate the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Hair Mask a nine out of ten, the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Shampoo an eight point five out of ten, and the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Conditioner an eight point five out of ten. I really liked the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Hair Mask, as I loved it’s thick and heavy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I unfortunately just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange sweet and creamy yet almost grassy scent. I really liked the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Shampoo, as I loved it’s thin and watery consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but I again just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s strange sweet and creamy almost grassy scent. I also really liked the Organic Shop Avocado & Honey Conditioner, as I loved it’s thick and creamy consistency, what it did when I used it, it’s results, and it’s packaging, but like the other two products in the collection I just wasn’t a massive fan of it’s very strange sweet and creamy almost grassy scent.
